STORM are Dirty PR****!!!

Lets be honest, STORM were friggin DIRTY & they got away with most of it. Laying all over us every tackle to the point of ridiculous, they were never back the 5 let alone 10 & it didn't matter how dirty they were to us in the tackles cause the Refs let the STORM run the show. I felt like i was in Melbourne today, we couldn't make anymore noise than we did out at LEICH. it just didn't matter.
Today reminded me exactly why i dislike the STORM(i respect the skill, especially by Billy the Freak) but they have all this skill plus the mongrel as well as the refs on their side!!!???
TIGERS had to be careful of every second they had them in a tackle, & A FORWARD PASS, PLEASE!!!!
I know we had chances, Yes there were mistakes but usually if we kick on the 3rd/4th tackles it's cause the other team aren't back & we can't move, same for when we move sideways & not forward. OUR DEFENCE WAS GREAT, we kept them out as much as they did us. BUT instead of using their pure skill to beat us they had to resort to injuring us & being complete PR****!!!
 
You missed my point, READ the TITLE. There are enough threads bagging our TIGER boys. I'm calling it how i see it, regardless of how we played the STORM are dirty & get away with it!!
 
Well if Melbourne are dirty players Its the job of the refs to sort this out Many refs are intimidated refereeing Smith and Co As I have said previously we lack talent in ref ranks and the top referees should be doing two games a weekend

most of this has nothing to do with the storm being dirty.

yes, i agree. they are grubs and yesterday also reminded me why i hated them with a passion. but it's the refs that control it.

the refs inconsistency between matches is attrocious. gallop was on the radio show after the game saying how all games should be consistent with the rulings from origin to club level. but as we are all well aware they are refereed completely different. gallop suggested part of it was the level of players at origin - what an absolute joke that is.

the nrl are useless and i worry about the future of our game and the stupid suggestions getting momentum from within their own ranks.

but to close, yes, melbourne are dirty pricks!
 
Bellamy's made it an art form by bending the rules, I for one don't like the recent tactic of the 3rd or 4th man in diving at the legs of a player whose progress has been stopped, it's their sole intention IMO to deliberately hurt the player in possession.
The grapple tackle, the chicken wing tackle and the crusher tackle, all grubby tactics pioneered by the Storm and all outlawed, what's Bellyache's latest atrocity going to be.

Thankyou, completely true. Yeh the refs also have responsibility to control players dirty tactics BUT it comes down to the Coaching & the players, they should be held responsible & stopped.
Weird how with all the skill Storm have,rep players & all, the only way they really got us was by injuring Benji & the dirty tackles.
Funny when people read a thread think it's useless BUT take time to reply, hahahahahaha :crazy
 
I made similar comments about the standard of yesterdays refereeing in another thread crystal, its frustrating, but I also think WTs need to have alternate game plans to use when confronted with situations like yesterday especially if we are to do well in this comp. The club can't change the refs so have to adapt if want to succeed.
 
Dogs!!!! Thats what i say about the storm. Farah caught them off mark a thousand times. Ref didnt say nuffing. Sika manu dirty player, one day he'll get his day like warea-hargreves got his.

The ref did say something actually, he kept telling Farah to settle down- totally dismissive and signified the attitude that dictated the standard of referring we saw particularly around the rucks.
