Prime have a new series called Gen V. Its a spinoff from The Boys about a college where the top new wave of supes go to hone their skills. Same blood and gore and same sick humour. If you like The Boys you will like Gen V.

Extraction 2 on Netflix was good.
Better than the #1

Watched two ordinary flicks on foxtel called... 65 & Infinite.

Both decent action but nothing special.

We are watching Rake season 3 and Succession season 4 now.

Rake is so good. It's one of the all time Australian shows. I think it is better than Mr Inbetween.

After the Australian Minister of Defence texts a ‘secret file’ to the Princess of Behati-Prinsloo, a small island nation, he sends four Australian soldiers into the war-town country on a secret mission to retrieve the file. Mistaken for Americans, they are captured by freedom fighters and produce a hostage video that goes viral. When the soldiers reach celebrity status on social media, they realise that being caught might just be the best thing that could’ve happened to them. They’re about to make search history.



The series also stars Ben O’Toole, Lincoln Younes, Alexander England, Mel Jarnson, Fayssal Bazzi, Dorian Nkono, Rebecca Breeds, Bella Heathcote and Erik Thomson.

Yea for some reason they are sticking to the weekly episode rubbish which is a real pain. Three episodes in its seems OK. Not as hard hitting as The Boys and a lot more undercurrent of pushing the whole "woke" thing by questioning social norms. That being said the blood and guts and toilet humour of The Boys is still there which makes it good for a laugh.

I always wait and see what the reviews are like a bit later. There are so many good shows to watch. I do watch all the star wars shows though but that is because I watch with my youngest son.

Binge watched all the far north episodes last night, really good kiwi true story about some kiwi lads trying to take delivery of $500mil of meth from the Chinese king pins. Pretty funny too

Deadloch on Prime. Very funny Aussie who done it.

Lol when I watched that I hated it at first. Too quirky, too bogan and the mouth on that detective was out of this world….then by about episode 3 it turned into a very good murder/mystery thriller.
If you get used to the town characters, you will enjoy it.

If you get used to the town characters, you will enjoy it.

Great recommendation, just finished ep 2 and its brilliant, first ep was a hard watch with it trying to be funny with the detective, but i'm now hooked.
