Suli set for NRL Debut...

Its crazy that only before Christmas we were saying how of all the young guns coming through, none were outside backs. This kids seems to have appeared out of thin air. Very rapid rise.

I think it's actually pretty good management for once to keep a gun kid somewhat off the radar and inflate his price even further… We haven't done that well at all in the past.

Suli's talent is well known to those familiar with the Balmain SG Ball and HM teams. He has been in the NSW under age teams and squads so selectors are well aware of his ability.

He was always a gun kid and the junior we needed to retain badly. And we did. Good luck to him! He'll make mistakes, but so do the other more experienced players he's competing with. Considering the huge upside to his potential it's a no-brainer.

However we now have perhaps the biggest outside back pairing in the comp on one side of the field, and the smallest in the comp on the other. Too imbalanced for my liking and definitely we need to split Kev and Noffa calamity of last season

Good point BB. Suli should move to his specialist right centre position to replace Kev at some stage. This provides the opportunity for another youngster to debut on the wing.

If Simona is cleared then the problem is resolved. If SImona is sacked and some cap space is freed up do you:
- Play MCK in the centres and keep the coin free;
- Go after Nathan Davis who the Titans are shopping; or
- Go after Dale Copley who the Roosters are shooping?

They're all 100kg+ options in the centres.

It has been reported that Simona has to front the NRL by this Friday to state his case. How long before we will Simona is cleared? I hope that it will not take most of this season because the club will then be without a class player for the season.

I think Idris will play left centre with Suli on the left wing since that's where they've been training in the whole pre-season.

So I would like MCK to play right centre to add some size and muscle as well as being a good defensive option. The right-side attack can speak for itself.

No it is not yet over. He still has to state his case on Friday.

That's just a formality. He is done.
If he feels like he has been terminated unfairly he can take legal action.
My guess the evidence is concrete otherwise the NRL wouldn't expose itself to litigation.

His career is done even if he's found not guilty. Things like this stick. Every time he drops a ball or misses a tackle, people will be suspicious.

Simona is toast. Anyone thinking otherwise is kidding themselves at this point.

As you quite rightly say GNR his career in league is finished. He could be as innocent as a newborn baby but all the mud and stigma will stay with him probably for the rest of his life. There is no possibility of a return to any NRL club he will have to accept that.I actually fear for his wellbeing and hope he is getting and continue to get the best possible support from friends and family plus the professional help that the tigers and the NRL can give.
Dont get me wrong he must be banned if the evidence is overwhelming but mental health is the most fragile thing.

Why would the tigers and the nrl need to provide him with professional help?
He's been on a decent wage for a while, what's wrong with his dirty money?

So in your mind he is guilty gallagher, he may be but let due process take its course.
