Sunday's weather

I hope the ABC weatherman got things wrong last night, but he was forecasting an east coast low to form off the coast over the weekend with strong winds and some heavy rain predicted for Sydney.

The BOM site is predicting strong winds but only scattered showers.

Could be a scrappy affair on Sunday.

Saturday is going to be the worst day, heavy showers all over Sydney.
Interesting to see how the ground pulls up for Sunday.

Me too Spartan.

We had the Trent Barrett Shield today (a rugby league competition for boys in year 3/4) and it wasn't 'supposed' to rain here today until 3pm- ish.

It ended up raining ALL day. Boys were soaked, parents and teachers were soaked, ground was practically mud.

Good fun though.

My boys lost the final by 1 try, 16-12 :frowning:

They predicted wind & rain for Sydney yestreday (working outdoors) we got showers, the wind arrived today but no rain

If the weatherman had to pay up everytime they were wrong, there would be plenty to compensate for the slow down in the world economy.

They're still calling for possible showers tomorrow and 19 degrees. Hopefully the rain stays away.

Just checked and there is a slight chance of rain at midday and mostly cloudy for the rest of the day. Hope they get it right today.

i live in the Eastern Suburbs, not far from the SFS and the weather looks fine, sunny and a bit windy. fingers crossed for no rain!! touch wood.

It's gonna be windy out there today…bring a warm coat/jacket!....I'll be there cheering the boys home to a win.. with my 2 sons!!
