@ said:Question, how long is the deregistration for?
@ said:I feel totally abandoned by the game I have loved. I’ve been saying for ages that broncos get an unfair advantage - well now I’ll call it like it is - the NRL CHEATS. Run by the two biggest dickheads ever to hold management positions.
Roosters obviously Rort the cap - nothing
Broncos favoured every week - nothing
Sharks caught using drugs - next to nothing
Players rape women - next to nothing
I’m not a hate filled person but I could not be angrier than I feel now. The punishment fished out to our club is abhorrent.
I’ll write to that useless turd at the NRL again but as has happened in the past the useless [automatically edited] will not respond.
Justin Pascoe on the other hand has responded every time I’ve communicated with him.
He is a great leader and I’ll be a part of any action to defend him or lodge our protest.
@ said:People - it is great to vent on here but it wont do anything.
You need to get on to the NRL. They need to be bombarded with complaints.
You can contact them via nrl.com. I have today. Received two replies already. Just the standard response:
In regards to the incident with the Wests Tigers, the rules are clear around post-career roles. This type of agreement could be used by a club to keep a player at a reduced salary and a way around the cap. The payment should have been disclosed by the club and included in their salary cap.
It is important to stress these are preliminary findings and the club and Mr Pascoe have been given a reasonable time to respond to the proposed penalties.
Thanks again for taking the time to write to us.

Love how the NRL says the rules are clear but yet teams like the Roosters who clearly break them year in year out are never fined while they will always find a needle in a haystack with us.
@ said:I am a huge fan of Justin Pascoe and have said so many times on this forum. I think the man is a very good, shrewd, slick professional businessman. A perfect CEO and he is ours and provided direction to build this club in the last few years. His honesty and integrity and open support for the cap and the NRL in recent years is well documented.
He has my 100% support, even though in real terms that means nothing. But I feel better saying it.
This whole sage stinks. Not only was the deal with Farah well known years ago, but do you want me to believe similar deals have not been struck with Slater, Lockyer, Luke Ricketson, Anthony Miniciello, you name it, they are all ambassadors. if you want me to believe none of them struck a deal during their playing days or if they were, the money was declared?
Golf skins games with $5K prizemoney a hole (to supplement their cap - Anasta 18 holes V Politis O holes), favors from sponsors, money hidden in the boot of sponsors cars, free meals and entertainment at sponsor establishments, free or subsidised rent on sponsors townhouses and units, jobs for players wives, all well known, and you are telling me this OPEN, HONEST and AND WELL KNOWN arrangement with Farah is an issue?
And lets just say there has been an error by Pascoe in the whole thing….....DEREGISTRATION? Mate, seriously, this is a cluster*** of the highest order by the NRL.
