Suspensions

I think Robbie will get done. I'll be pissed if he does and Latimore/Merrin go free. At least they got a penalty for that (which barely hurt Hornby). All we ended up with was two concussions.

Farah will be suspended. Also Blair will be charged with a grade 1 reckless or careless tackle, plus loading for being a repeat offender will be out as well unless we fight it & beat the charge.Hopefully Ellis will be back, who ever was the video ref will be sacked for not giving us a penalty for high shots from latimore & Merrin.Regardless,I think they will bounce back & beat the raiders

I don't think Robbie has a case to answer same for Blair. If they do it the 2 Dragon players will both be answerable so the judiciary will not both. There were 2 blatant headshots missed by all refs.

I would fight the Blair one if charged, nothing in it.

Robbie will get a week.

Latimore will get 1-2 weeks for hiting Benji, if he hit any other player and he would hardly have been noticed but it was a swinging arm. The on field refs should be dropped for missing it.

The hit on Ryan deserves a week but they will say he was falling. Probably be charged grade 1 may or may not miss a game depending on laoding.

Just read an article on NRL Live stating Farah is facing a 2 match ban for his dangerous throw. Will miss 3 games if he pleads not guilty and loses.

Latimore was also charged for his hit on Marshall, but won't miss a game due to carryover points.

The bloke who whacked beau with basically the same hit has not been sighted at all.

Beau looks free to play, and there was nothing regarding Blair's hit yet.

Merrin, I am disappointed he didn't get cited, the difference between his tackle on Beau and Blair's tackle was that
Blair's glanced off the shoulder leading to a connection with the head on an obviously falling player, whereas Merrin came in with a swinging arm late in the tackle. The contention that Beau was falling in the tackle is a misnomer in my opinion because it was so late in the tackle. Absolutely absurd rulings and i can't help but feel we have been hard done by especially considering that both Latimore and Merrins' tackle we did not get penalties for.

Ah sorry TuiTui, I was referring to both Latimore and Merrins hits looking the same. And how one (Latimore) was looked at, and Merrins wasn't. The consistency of the review committee and refereeing still has us all scratching our heads.

You're right Tigertye. I agree they both were similar, and i didn't mean to confuse your sentiments, sorry if i did so.
I was more trying to convey the point that both Blair and Merrin got off, but in my opinion there was a clear distinction between the two tackles (Merrin,Blair). In Merrins' case it looked to me like there was clear intent(swinging arm) to hit the head coming in late in the taackle, whereas Blairs' was accidental due to the circumstance of the tackle(falling, glance off shoulder). Yet it seems they both got off for the same reason, that being that the player tackled was falling.
