Sydney club in financial strife.

Can you remember how many tigers supporters were in the crowd at our grand final they were everywhere.
I went to the Semi v St.George the week before. Saints got their allocation of tickets way ahead of Tigers fans YET I'd almost swear there were more Tigers fans than Saints fans there.

Me & my Missus were given tickets to the game but were stuck right in the middle of the "Dragon Army" with a huge oversized Dragons jersey held over the heads of about 4 rows. We were the ONLY Wests Tigers fans in that whole seating section.......boy did we cop it off them until they started getting nervous, then emotional, then in tears.😂🤣

What a night!! 😍 🤣

They wanted to be the only club to own their own stadium, but the development has gone south I believe. Well intentioned but a stadium out that way which can only hold 12,000 is a fairly poor investment, not sure how they ever planned to make money/see any significant capital growth. Due to the development, I don't know if they'd be able to increase capacity very much at all.

NRL recently bought the hotel adjacent to the ground, so maybe have acquired something else which was part of the development or perhaps the hotel is the 'asset' referred to.
They were spending money hand over fist when they made the deal on the land there....
There was always talk of them dipping into the finances before they were due to them,
Only a matter of time before the well ran a dry.

I wish it was the bulldogs or parra or both

Another reason why I want no changes to HBG systems, which work, unlike others.

WA have made substantial successful leveraged property investments, acquisitions.

Others with so called credentialled boards shutter.

Hands off our club.
