Sydney club in financial strife.

Yeah , whatever the hell that means. Maintain the rage fella, I'm sure it's a good cause.
The Macarthur region (including the branded Magpies Leagues Club) does not support Wests Tigers!

Wests Tigers supports Campbelltown and the Macarthur region - and makes a financial loss doing so!

Facts!

I used to agree with you mate. Like you’d see a wests tigers store in MacArthur square , but you’d have no real idea it was wests tigers area generally .
I thought the club did a good job of engaging the community and drumming up hype for the games last year.
The gameday experience though was shithouse . The club really needs to do a better job with this , as if you’re indifferent about going to games , i can see it being a real turn off .
Richo has been big on this being fixed this year so I guess we will see .

CSS had a good draw last year with home games against dragons parramatta and canberra.
The club did have 2 for 1 tickets to some CSS games last year and company I work for was given a significant amount of free tickets to a CSS game.

Hopefully this year at all our grounds the gameday experience is better

Winning will fix things. 😉

It’s clearly the sharks

From late 2023 …

The NRL has vowed to invest a further $250 million in revenue-generating assets after purchasing a hotel adjacent to Cronulla’s home ground for an estimated $20 million.

The Australian Rugby League Commission announced on Tuesday the acquisition of the Quest Woolooware Bay Hotel,

And a month later

Cronulla’s leagues club is quickly becoming a multimillion-dollar white elephant which is now plaguing the Sharks’ bottom line.
There are serious concerns for Cronulla’s home base after it can be revealed there is now no set date for the leagues club to be reopened for trading – and is already more than 12-months overdue.

Because of ongoing delays, there is also little chance of the site being refurbished by the end of next season. Novm is the developer of the precinct.

It means Cronulla will once again host games at a construction site at PointsBet Stadium which leaves the clubs hundreds of thousands of dollars out of pocket through restricted crowds and minimal corporate offerings.

Repeated delays has also seen building costs blow out to a reported $30 million as the once thriving leagues club now collects dust despite the surrounding precinct nearing completion.

If thats the case, This wont get any airplay in the media....Buzz and NRL 360 will ignore this
Great if it's Cronulla, Buzz will no doubt try to spin something positive about it but it would be entertaining on NRL 360 because I don't think they would let the old Buzzard off the hook.

Could be entertaining watching him squirm.

I thought Western Suburbs RLFC supported the Campbelltown/ Macarthur region and receive a grant from HGB and Wests Campbelltown.
If what you say is true, can you produce any evidence from Wests Tigers' annual financial reports to support it?

Buzz already has a solution. He will lead the fundraising with a denture membership system copied from us.

Of course he/she/it can’t.
The biggest agitator of division on this or any forum when it comes to Balmain v Wests.
It must be burning a hole in its rotten gut that it missed the weeks of discussion 🤣🤣🤣

Correct - but as I said Wests Tigers further subsidises that by playing there at a financial loss!

While the adjacent leagues club directly profits from attendances - while keeping at arm's length from Wests Tigers and not re-investing in HBG or WT!!
