I’d consider Michael Jennings depending on his asking price. Heard he has 2 years in his favour at the Eels after this year. So he won’t go anywhere unless he is offered more than that 2 yr deal.

Defends well, still got a bit of toe. We could do a lot worse.

As already mentioned, Cleary punted him 5 years ago. Doubtful he’d see the appeal now.

does sacking a player mean he is not being paid anymore by the club?

or does the club still have to honour the contract?

He has breached contract , no we don't need to honour his contract

We will actually need to sign a player by June 1 to be cap compliant

Off Contract 2019
CENTRE

Mitchell Aubusson, Waqa Blake, Gavin Cooper, Sosaia Feki, Mahe Fonua, Aaron Gray, Konrad Hurrell, Michael Jennings, Solomone Kata, Richard Kennar, Chris Lawrence, Nene Macdonald, Brad Parker, Tyrone Taukamo, Enari Tuala, Dylan Walker, Matthew Wright

Its hardly a great field. Im not sure that any of them get a bus pass. The best players in that list dont seem like Cleary players.

Maybe Solomone Kata?

Either we look at moving Lolohea or as someone else said have a good look at England.

Those 3 would be my picks, Dylan Walker would be good though.

Who ever made that list hasn't watched Lawrence play for 2 years….

If he is in breach of his contract and his contract has been terminated (term used by the club in the press release), then it's all over. The contract is finished, no more payments. However there may be a terminated contract agreement which includes details of any final or end of employment payment.

In testing positive for a prohibited substance he has broken the terms of his contract thus allowing the Tigers to terminate the contract. Legally he now receives nothing apart from ongoing support. The support is not a legal requirement but comes out of the clubs welfare policy/values.

Not necessarily need to sign a player…. If no suitable options are available i'd say they will promote from within..

Sam McIntyre is making his ISP debut today Gibbs and Dylan Smith are doing well in a beaten Flegg side...Garner, Malaike, Drinkwater all performing strongly in ISP as well...

I can't remember the last time I watched a game where Jennings played and was a standout. He's long past it imo.

Agree Doc - never does the hard yards - totally overated and for the dough, probably should pay us.

He violated the terms of the contract. The club has no obligation.

Good ol Kev has been kissed on the butt by a rainbow - two contacts terminated this year, both centres. Kev becoming the Steve Bradbury of centres!!

Not to mention that he is playing in what could have still been Simona's spot.

Yes, but why are we still bashing Kev now? Seriously the guys form has been great and he has lifted massively.

We have had worse. Kevin is actually developing nicely, his defense has gone from turnstyle to pretty good. Still stepping off the line but a lot less. If he isn't good enough to start then he is really good depth.

Arent Tiger Steve and formerguest simply saying the same thing? He is a depth player who is starting because we have lost three potential starting centres?

Are you kidding?

Aubusson and Cooper would be great if they were 2 years younger. Aubusson could be a decent signing on the right coin.

Hurrell, Jennings and Walker are guns. They are the guys you hire at 350K no questions. Sadly though, they will be asking for more cash then that. Hurrell is very unreliable but when he is on fire he scores two tries by himself. I like the way Cleary rolls too, premadonna or not you preform or go to reserves. That will work for everyone above.

Yeah I’m not bagging him and I’m slowly being converted. I was a Kev bagger, still think he is more depth than star, but am happy to admit he has looked solid this year ….. most of the time

That's a good wrap for Kev - Bradbury was a winner.
