Take Out The Emotion (As Hard As It May Be)

Guys,
I saw the writing on the wall 5 mins into the 2nd half. Taking the emotion out of it lets break it down...

At present the experience in our side are borderline 1st grade. Our centres and bench are well below the standard needed to compete at this level. This is where we fall away. Honestly we will take a win from the Bulldogs but they will get the other. We will lose the rest.

I honestly believe that Madge can onlywork with what he has, which is very little. Our players have a go but are just not up to it.

This afternoon did anyone really believe we were a chance of finishing in the 8? Even with the easier draw?

I believe the Pascoe and his mates need to go before Madge. Sacking Madge isnt the answer. Even Wayne Bennett or Bellamy would really struggle with our cattle. If they do sack him then I will support whoever steps in but its a poison chalice.

The most worrying thing for me is there isn't any light at the end of the tunnel. I cannot see anyway the WT digging themselves out of this situation over the coming years.

Well we got Stefano and Laurie. Douehi still hit and miss but a keeper.
Some potential good juniors coming through but we are 2-3 years away from a finals berth

madge is not worst than jason taylor who had moses tedesco woods. how would taylor go with this line up

About the same. Gameplans and structure look very similar.

Careful. Don't defend the coach around here. haha

Does anyone know the best way to just temporarily cut this team out of your life, because mentally, I can’t watch this team for a while. I was stressing about this game days before and once that Brooks field goal went dead, I kicked the life out of a bin and couldn’t speak to anyone for a good hour. I’m embarrassed to be a supporter but I’m more embarrassed of how I act watching my team play and how I act after. As I’m sure heaps on here do, I can’t not watch but I feel for a few weeks I need to. Any genuine tips would be appreciated

I hear you. How on earth an organisation can continue to make its members and stakeholders miserable and the people making decisions not get moved on is beyond me. Let me know if you figure out how not to care.

I don't know how we've managed success off the field given we can't win a game.

we need dept. look at panthers never lost a game until injury. but storm a few injury not a problem the replacement is just as good. we wont get any dept by buying marquee. buy a few ok dept first. we so far got laurie and ken mamaulo for good price, does the job until we snap a few more good buys then better oportunity will open

There doesn’t seem to be much talent around these days.
