Any newly appointed debenture holders since 2018 are review after 5 years.

I feel there is a good chance that some possibly unknown dudes from the Balmain side of our JV purposely caused the current major destabilization kerfuffle within the board and club generally, to unseat Magpie board members then put their own stooges in along with some supposed neutral stooges to enable them to take control of WTs board.
As I said, that aint gunna happen.
And by the way, do you feel anyone on here has pushed the idea that the Magpies are the cause of the current troubles?

Judging purely on the fact that the people who recommended the review were ousted by the HBG tells me enough. This isn’t a Magpies vs Balmain thing, it’s a parent company not being run correctly that trickles down into the other parts of its reach. I don’t know where you get the narrative that I’m targeting the magpies, seems you’ve got a bias and are acting like it’s a crusade against them. I’m purely talking about HBG and if you can’t see that they have issues then you must be blinded by bias. As for my suggestion that HBG are independent to the club in which you responded “That ain’t gunna happen my good man.” It seems (if you can believe HBG) that is what they are supposedly doing; judging by their statement: “Wests Tigers operations, including the Football Department is independent of Holman Barnes Group,
and we are committed to that independence. Any suggestion to the contrary is patently false.” Whether you choose to believe them is up to the individual. But there is no doubt foul play is happening from the Balmain side with certain actions they’ve taken and magpies side with their alleged agenda. I understand the unconscious bias towards both sides if you grew up with them, in which I didn’t. All I know is Wests Tigers and that’s all that matters and I guarantee most wouldn’t bat an eye if Wests Tigers were to become a sole entity and kick the joint venture out the equation, which I know will never happen.

They should also have a way to become a full member , be it play golf , or bowls etc , join one of the internal clubs become full member and then have the opportunity after 2 or 3 years to run for a position on the board ,that’s a pretty standard set up , but to be run by basically 20 people is a disgrace and is very very outdated ,
The board should agree to have the mother club buy out the debentures from these people , give them $ 500 each , then scrap them and start again as per above , piss easy system to run , very fair , board terms 2 years only , president can run and also have a current director challenge him , minor spots on the board - Vice president - junior vice President - treasure elected at first board meeting buy the director elected by members ,

You reckon your involved with clubs yet you seem ignorant of facts.

27000 social members can vote after 3 years.

Only general members can vote to change the constitution after 3 years membership.........this is standard practice.
