I thought exactly the same thing.

I had such a beautiful Pekin duck, the best friend I ever had, followed me around every where on the property.

She also laid the best eggs that averaged out at about 110-115 grams each.

The only thing I could fault about her (and probably any duck for that matter), absolutely no control what so ever over her arse hole, projectile crap everywhere.
Never feed duck's in a community area.Scored mine in a round about way from the kill chain ,its feet were bigger than its body how it got there as a week old is any1's guess, People said it would never live ,f them .It behaved like a 3 yr child. Took 9mths to stand up to Hemaroid and Steven ,saved chickens ,then disappeared with out a trace.God bless Duckuris, happy face emojiex3

Who has the power to remove / replace these board members in the future.
The exact details on that haven't been released publicly but my preference would be, that would be the role for the ownership group, but would have to have specific issues to trigger that action.

Who are the 18 debenture holders?
How or what did they do to become the debenture holders?
When?
What happens when debenture holders die are they forever assets that go to their heirs?
What a debacle 😮‍💨

The only debenture holders known publicly are the ones that are directors of the HBG, Burgess, Romero, Gilbert, Montgomery etc.

I believe once they die their position opens up.

They become a debenture holder by loaning the HBG money, essentially they buy their position.

Names / symbols mean something to some people- as a person with bonds / memory of the Magpies and their symbol - the Magpie. Ive got no desire for the symbol to be at the NRL level but I'd like the Magpie to be at the KOE level. My preference.

People may recall I recently posted a suggestion we go further with the Outlaw / Bushranger theme / symbol to get over the symbolism of previous clubs- Tiger and Magpie. Im sorry but I feel at present if we get rid of the Magpie at KOE and its all Tiger, Ive lost something. Im not pressing, or wanting Magpie at NRL but whats wrong with giving a dog a bone with the Magpie at KOE level? If we loose the Magpie at KOE level I'd be really thinking about a new symbol- as I said I like the Bushranger. Anyway, just my 2 cents worth.

AND back to the thread point, yes something has to be done about the Board and hold their feet to the fire until these 3 independents are announced and in place.

You're entitled to your preference, however it's irrelevant what a handful of people think. We are Wests Tigers and should be across all three top grades

Wait a minute ,from your posts the ownership group is 2 people, surely they don't have the final say on who the recruitment agency is /nor should have the power to remove or implement board members, wow 2 out of 7 is not a democracy

The ownership is spilt up amongst, The Homan Barnes Group, Wests Magpies and Balmain.

There needs to be a mechanism to remove an underperforming board or director, I feel that is a role the ownership group can perform.

With all due respect , I would dispute that point mate. We can’t have them anywhere near the Wests tigers board. They are incompetent.

A debenture loans the club money, in the past it was used to raise revenue for upgrades etc. Now it is just used for people to buy control of the club.

The debenture holders at the Holman Barnes Group appoint 5 seats of the 7 seat Holman Barnes Group board.
Is each debenture holder an individual or can a debenture be held by an organisation?

I don't disagree, and I don't know how that side of it actually works so am speculating a little. For me any appointed to the board would be conducted by an outside agency and rubber stamped by the owners.

I will just leave this thread with ,you said a page back, there abouts ,you described the ownership group as 2 people,an itch fight is least on my agenda, just clarification muddling thru this mess .One way or the other time will never stand still.

I’m not trying to be negative but I can see some real issues when the Hbg are rubber stamping anything. I can see the west tigers board getting high jacked again over time and you will have to start another petition again. I hope I’m wrong.

I don't recall saying that but if I did I misspoke.

The ownership breakup is

Wests Tigers Ownership
90% Wests Magpies PTY LTD
10% Balmain Tigers DRLFC

Wests Magpies PTY LTD Ownership
66% Holman Barnes Group
34% Wests Magpies DRLFC

I am happy to try and answer any questions you have about this.

I believe they are individuals.
I think the fans of Wests Tigers have a right to know these people who essentially decide the fate of our club. It sounds like a very exclusive group who may or may not know anything about running a footy club.

Folks, the Petition is still live but not progressing due to the Ukraine War, apparently.

Our loyal Base of Aces stands at 44. It's not a bad start given the daily distractions facing the majority of non-aligned WestsTigers supporters.

I'd love to see us reach a maiden half-century, so please - one last push- with your sharing of the Link below, you can help reach that goal. But then I remembered that we don't really have a goal kicker! I'll settle for a crash ball barge over try!

Thanks to all who participated.

There is no requirement in regard to football because they are debenture holders to the HBG not the Wests Tigers.
