I wouldn't be surprised if Chammas is chasing some comment from our sponsors at Pepper Money & Zurich in particular, NRL (Vlandys) and even State Government (Gaming & Liquor) too. I would if I was a journo as even Chammas will see now how the corporate governance at HBG is based on an archaic highly ineffective debenture system. Wouldn't be surprised if a Roy Masters article emerges soon too.

They won’t kick the club. The other members of the ARLC will issue the ownership group a no confidence, and force HBG to sell their majority stake . The same thing happens all the time in other leagues .

How has Dennis Burgess weaseled his way onto the HBG board? Christ it's 1 step forwards, 2 steps sideways and 25 backwards with this joint.

Richo has worked his arse off to get things going in the football department and you then have these petulant children clinging onto their own seat of the board, not out of the best interests of the club, but out of self interest. Absolutely pathetic.

Dennis has been on the HBG board for over 20 years, he was placed on there as a representative of the debenture holders.

He was, he was on both the HBG board and the Wests Tigers board. He stepped down from the Wests Tigers board when the review recommendations were handed down. He has now been reappointed to the Wests Tigers board as the HBG representative.
 
These guys could have came out of this smelling like roses. Stepping aside for the betterment of the community and club (i.e. doing their jobs as a club director). We would have loved them.

Instead, these obstructionist idiots, want to cling onto their blazers as seemingly the only relevance in their life. Its plain to see they are not successful people and maybe they feel like this is their path.

@cochise and @Joel Helmes if you guys are driving. Were here for what you need. I think the HBG change is the right path now. Need to get these idiots out of the way of themselves.

Unfortunately mate . Romero is talking about punting Ofarrell , who’s right with Richo , was against the review , was against the findings of the review , was against the implementation of the findings of the review , and is now going after anyone who has the balls to call her out on it.
She knows she’s out of her depth , yet still thinks she knows better , better because somehow she weaselled herself into this debenture system and into a position of power .
Burgess honestly sounds like the most toxic human you could ask for around this club . Gets a skinfull at a sell out crowd , and gobs off about the magpies to a Balmain director . Wtf seriously … it’s amateur hour !
I was watching some old footy show segment from the 90s and here he was on there playing some song with his shit haircut , and attention seeking nonsense .
Even fatty seemed like he could smell the desperation from the bloke clinging to his 15. Minutes . And now he’s still hanging on by a thread….
