Tame Tupou

He is a big boy but am I the only one who remembers how genuinely terrible he was under the high ball?

I am excited to see how he develops as a forward once over his injuries

thankfuly forwards dont have to catch to many high balls

I can't remember him under the high ball, but is he seriously worse than Fitzy?

I don't mind where we see him. Would be a great impact bench player in the forwards..

The up & back running defensively is their main concern, …'maybe next week or the week after' ...PL or NRL not determined yet for his comeback but definitley in the forwards

Can only really see the big unit as a "battering ram type of interchange forward"…..don't hold your breath waiting for him to be NRL match fit soon ....just my hunch

Have to be PL given he hasn't played in so long. I just hope his knee holds up, it's been a long road to recovery for the big fella and it would be great to see him trampling players this season.

then again…couldnt be much worse then lawrence..

No way …I blame Sheens....bad coaching....

Lawrence on the wing.....wonder how he'd go under the highball?

On Tame...well he is a massive unit .....

he doesnt contest for the ball…ive never seen him leap for a ball...he just jumps backwards in hope of taking out the player..but as you said it could be bad coaching...though i think lawrence is better suited on the wing in the way he draws the winger in and then passes to tuqiri/tuiaki...he does it so well

But if he's on the wing he wont be draing an opposing winger, he'll need his centre - a possy which you state he's pretty good at- he'll need his centre drawng & putting him away

I think BT means Lawrence is better suited to centre cause suck in oppostion winger and put Lortay away makes no sense of all if he's better suited to wing….. 😕

his fittness is coming along better the hoped.. and he is really impressing the right people..

attitude is positive and looks good

Ok so it's been a month… does anybody have any further updates? Sheens didn't mention him in the press conference last night when questioned about our injuries.

On the Wests Tigers website it says Topou's return date is still indefinite. Also Fulton's return date is Round 17, which is later than alot of people thought…

Yeah they initially said 4-6 weeks, so people were expecting Fulton back in Round 14 - 16\. I guess with some injuries it's hard to know exactly when.
