Correct me if im wrong and apologies if aleady mentioned, but isn't sheens responsible for manufacturing another prop - a Mr R. Wikki.

i think ruben was still a centre when sheens was coaching him…dont think he went into the forwards till the late 90's...although I could be wrong.

have a look at this boys

imagine TNT and Tame on the wings in this kind of form..

Great to watch! The majority of his tries came from long cut-out balls from Lockyer and co. which he held onto and finished nicely. Benji likes to fire similar balls to his wingers so I dare say it seems he fits our style of play based on those clips…..I'd like to see some of his games from England to really get an idea of how he goes these days.

thats exactly what i thought. he seems to get the long cut out passes that ryan seems to struggle to get.

He will play in the forwards - no doubt about it.

Yeh its looking that way and hes happy with that too…hes bulked up something massive

Could prove to be a very effective wide running second rower if his knees and fitness hold up.

from what ive heard he could be the dene halatau v.2\. a wide running forward who can play in the forwards or the centres when called upon. Though who would we drop the make room for him?

Don't think Tupou has spent much time in the centres, plus the Tigers have Pritchard and Davis to call upon should anything happen to Lawrence or Ayshford.

I wouldn't compare him to Halatau either. As nice a bloke as Dene is, he only weighs 90kg and stands around 5"10, Tupou is tipping the scales at over 115kg and well over 6 feet tall. Looking forward to seeing Mr T in the trials.

from what panthers supporters are saying, he used to play some time in the centres. but yes i am also looking forward to him playing in the trials.

Panthers supporters??? Are u talking about Tupou or Moors

Anyone out there have any news on how the big fella is going at training and with his rehab? Is he any chance of pulling on the boots in the next few weeks?

i have heard that he is overcoming his injury well and is well on his way of coming in early in the season for matches in Premier League.

Hopefully the surgery he had will be able to clear him of his past injuries on his knee and be able to be a beast again
