I'm yet to see a player at the end of their career make an impact at a club trying to "rebuild" especially if they come from a club who has just experienced a successful year. A forced move - simply to add to the retirement fund. Time will tell if he is an exception.
Good point raised however he has Won a premiership at the cowboys and now a leader within a young pack that are killing the opposition with there play the ball speed and general D in the 1st 20 minutes of games.
A 2 year deal is worth it it lines up with Madge's extension of 1 year and having a player like this will enhance our younger players, he is a NSW origin and Australian player prior as well so there is not much in the game he hasn't achieved.
Right now all a smokescreen i hear the deal was this Panthers offered him a 1 year deal but he wanted 2, Tigers have given him 2 years and if he performs option of another year.
He has changed clubs before but also been loyal to the ones he has played for a Quality leader is what we lack and it does tick a few boxes.
