Taniela Tuiaki Injury Thread...

I would suggest that it is 4 weeks until Nella expects to be cleared for real opposed training & contact work. If he gets through that he **may** get a run for Balmain-Ryde within the following fortnight.

Awesome news!!! Fingers crossed because an early return from the big fella would be perfect for the Tigers! I don't expect him to be back to his best, but TNT at 50% is better than anything else we have for that position!

How was he walking around Alexaki?

I saw TNT walk and he looked 100%..

How did he look size-wise?

Sounds somewhat realistic…..realistic sticks out like dogs clackers on here

i could of sworn you said tuiaki @ 50% is better then anything else we have in that position? oh wait….yes you did

Correct… why does that mean 50% fit though?

Kaiser, I read it the way you wrote it.

Tuiaki, even playing 50%, is better than the alternatives.

TBH I thought at first he was Willie Mataka..when he went to get his meal Beau confirmed it was Tuiaki..I thought TNT would've been a bit taller…he looked OK though and I didn't notice any limp...

He has been doing plenty of fitness work, bike, rowing, swimming.

I know he wont be match fit,but we need his explosive strength more than overall fitness.

Cant wait to see him back on field.

I dont think so.

You dont play top class players back through the lowers.

If he is fit I reckon he will play.

Sorry , but it is very wishful thinking on TNT part, what else is going to say….the 4 week line has been stated since round 1 .
It is better to assume the worst , so if the big bloke makes it back on the paddock this year, it will all be a bonus for us all

At the sponsors dinner 2 wks ago all the players got up on stage and Tuiaki got up on stage and said he will prove people who said he won't be back this year wrong.

Thats all well and good, but people shouldnt take these comments from players, especially regarding injuries…literally.
Of course they will always be thinking positively and speaking similarly...but the reality may be very very different...some players tell fans what they know they want to hear...just to please.

When he comes back great but for the moment we need someone other than fitzy to fill the hole. Imo Brown is our best choice.

exactly ink, after the cowboys moltzen said he definetaly wouldn't be out for the season.

Players always try and think positive when it comes to injuries
