Just heard on 2UE sport report this arvo that tuiaki could be a suprise naming in the balmain ryde side tomorrow so we all can only hope

Balmain played this evening and were beaten by 2 points. Tuiaki did not play. Incredibly poor info whoever gave them that.

prob limping cause he has started to run at around 5km on the treadmill, which means he is prob a little sore after doing it and other then that he isnt even doing running on the field or with the team..

simonthetiger, no chance he is back in 6 weeks.. 8 weeks or 10… i think u will find he wont be back this year..

Why are you trying so hard with this?
Let people have their little ray of hope…dont be such a wet blanket....I bet youre the guy that butts in with the punchline when someone else is telling a joke youve already heard.

This is really pathetic, everyone trying to score brownie points on when he'll be back...lets just wish him a speedy recovery ala the last two posts.

cause itll save another 30 pages of guessing games.

but if people need their ray of hope…ok lets all live in dream land with hopes and dreams where the pixies dance..
seriously Ink, what do u want to hear.. He will be back with in a month, then when that month arrives people will be on the backs of the WT for being incompetent and that the WT are telling porkies to the fans (and we know that happens from the fans), then another 4 weeks and still no sign of him, what then, itll be a huge conspiracy and bad management from the WT and co..itll be "what are they hiding" or " they cant even get the surgury right"... and the members of this forum are the worst when it comes with conspiracy theories.. so it is easier to just say, he wont be back in 6, 8 or 10 weeks.. that way there is know hype and no expectations.

but if u want you hopes and dreams and ray of light..knock your self out

what is the differnce between this and certain members (BB) of this forum pushing for a new coach every 5 seconds?, and to that ill addi believe you are one of them. After every loss a new thread will appear on a new coach..

And i believe it was Innk who popped the "when's Tuiaki back?" question to Humphreys on Talkin' Sport before the start of the season to get the ultimate brownie points only to have spin thrown in his face by the WT CEO..

Youre no different to anyone else in this thread and their predictions, get over yourself.
Youre like a broken record

LOL…you answered this yourself and you dont even realise it.

Bahahaha

lol… is it becuase u want to beleive that he is coming back? why are people pushing so hard for him to come back so early.. so who is sounding like the broken record ink..so rather then ask me why im pushing so hard, dont forget to ask the others who are pushing so hard for an early return.. but thats right... i go back to my first question..

difference is i dont go around all high and mighty telling people to live in la la land and live in that fantasy world that you so dearly love to live in

u live in ur fantasy world mate, ull sleep better at night. Your one of these people who will never admit they are wrong or face a fact..

Troy people are entitled to theyr'e opinion no one is right or wrong simple reason is no one knows a definte answer to when he will be back. Tui himself has said 4 weeks but there are many conflicting reports, so i cant see how you would know more then evry one else.

Any Fairy bread?? :master:

Any more word here people???

I thought we were supposed to hear if TNT would be back at all by the end of May and that's only a couple of days away…

I just wish they'd put us out of our misery one way or the other.

This week's Big League magazine has a small piece regarding Tuiaki. Apparently he has been running with assistance through the use of some sort of sling which takes the pressure off his ankle. He is due to start running this week without the assistance of the sling however Simmons said Tuiaki reached this stage earlier in the year and then they discovered his ankle was still in all sorts which led to the further clean up surgery.

How he will pull up from here is anyone's guess but fingers crossed he can continue on his road to recovery without any further mishaps.

The guy was the best winger in the NRL last year and this type of injury (I don't want to say it) could end up putting the big guy out for a yr or 2….or worse...retire.
I hope you are back and back to ur best soon champ

So….round 15 probably out of the question then.... 😕

Get well Tui....It's just not the same....

I don't care what round it is, I just can't wait til I am at a game and I hear the announcer say 'and in a late change to the program team, coming onto the wing in jersey 18, TANIELA THE TANK TUIAKI!!!'

There were fears around the time of the surgery about the recovery. Not so much because it wasn't a successful op, more so because of the severity of the injury suffered. Back then there were the suspicions he could miss the entire season. Obviously this was close to a worst case scenario and well lo and behold, it seems he going to give those fears a good run.

Personally i'm not really bothered when he makes it back to be honest. He'll be a long way off the pace and nowhere near his best. 2010 is really write off, i just hope his situation allows for him to really have a good pre season for 2011\. I really feel for the big guy though, it really has been a shocking injury. Must be real frustrated with it.
