Yeah AJ won both the 40m and 70m sprints, the only guy that didnt race is Benji, so AJ has to race him.

I will back Benji….....he is very fast..

Yo ..........HOust what happened to LIMA?

if he is as fast as my source says im gonna go with..

1\. taumata
6\. benji
7\. moltz

I agree with Willow..Sheens gets bagged for manufacturing players or playing them out of position…....

Balmain Tiger isn't Taumata being looked at for 7.......

yes he is being looked at for 7 but like you guys i would much prefer moltz at halfback. on the note of sheens being bagged..for the sake of moltz playing half let him get bagged

Moltzen is the best half by a mile but we need a back up for him and that is why Sheens is looking at Taumata, he can fill in in a number of positions in the backline so ideal to cover the backs from the bench. He may well also play hooker to give Farah a break. Unfortunately Lui is no where near ready for the NRL judging on his couple of performances in the top grade last year, his urgency in defence is no where near what it is in attack.

round 1 if all fit and ready id say we should start with :
1 lote
2 ryan
3 aj or ashford (loser playing reggies)
4 lawrance
5 tuiaki
6 benji
7 moltz

lui playing under 20's

I wouldn't discount Lui. A lot can happen in an off-season, particularly for an 18 year old who is still growing and physically maturing. Lui may not start 2010 in FG but he'll get his chance at some stage.

I agree mate Lui is very talented and young, watching him last year he was abit raw but once he gets some games under his belt this bloke could really suprise.

Lets stick with Moltzen at half until he goes back to the Central Coast.

Central Coast might not even get a team in the NRL.

Rare Tiger i think it depends how far down the track your talking.
For the next three seasons you will see something similar but 2013 onwards i think the 1,6,7 will change.
By then Sheens will be gone & when he pulls the pin Marshall will follow. If Central coast bears are in the comp i'll put my house on it that Moltzen will be one of the first signed & how long can Taumata keep his nose clean.
So if we don't sign anyone i think it will look like this
1.Mulleney
6.Lui
7.Lazarus
9.Farah

1\. what about benji?

2\. what about moltzen?

3\. lui isn't a five-eight

He is…

I dont know if I am missing something or if there is another thread but I highly doubt Benji will around when his contract expires at the end of 2011\. Sure to chase the rugby coin - or we will at least get the JT style speculation again. I am going to put it out there that if Taumata keeps his nose clean he could become one of our better paid players at five eighth in the next 2-3 years. He is a gun. You will see just how good he is next year. Cant wait!!

Lui has no commitment in defence.
You can't play if you cant tackle simple as that.

Lui is still only 18\. Let's wait and see how he shapes up in trials before we go dismissing his chances.

I think that Lazarus is right in the mix too as well as others. At long last we have decent depth and potentially very good depth in the backs. (Not including our already established gun players here). Lote I think, will carve up when he finally pulls on our jumper. Moltzen should not be moved from the halfback position but that's why we have trial games so it's a mouth watering few weeks coming up.

Benji had no commitment in defense a few years ago. Give him time.

BTW Willow, he's nearly 20\. Not 18.

Lazarus wont be in the mix unless needed for 2010… he will prob spend another 12 mths in lower grade to build up for 1st grade...

My mistake. I remember reading an article on him last year saying he had just turned 19.

i doubt lazerus will get a run in 1st grade this year. he has barely played any footy as of the last 2 years ( correct me if im wrong ). Im sure he will just get a run in nsw cup which i think there is nothing wrong with at all.
