OFFICIAL Taylan "Tiny" May #301

Yeah, I was actually wondering If you meant Terell would head out towards that side if the centre wa s smaller possibility so my enquiry was legit,, thought you probably meant taylan but thought I’d check, thanks for clarifying mate .. today was a good win.. just want to enjoy it with the rest of you people tonight 😉
It was a very good win.
We looked classy when we had our fair share of ball possession, but a bit shaky in stopping our opponents from making easy metres when they had the ball.
Hopefully that improves a lot next week.

Didnt seem a lot in it other than his arm getting caught in an awkard position...wasnt like a huge impact type injury unless it was when he hit the deck...although I think the Cowboys defender already knew he was in trouble and didnt really go on with it...almost gently put him down

That’s what worried me, the reaction of concern immediately from the cowboys. I have my fingers crossed that it is nothing too concerning. The positive was that the team didn’t lose focus when he had to be replaced, so we know they can carry on if he does need to give the shoulder a rest. I would prefer to see him rest rather than play when he isn’t quite right & risk further damage.

In todays game, centre is a make or break position. Turuva has proved to us that he is up for it. Id be selecting Maka and Turuva in the centres next week, unless ofcourse Toa is available. Then we just slot Skelton on the wing. We will compete.

1. Bula
2. Skelton
3. Turuva/Toa if available
4. Makasini
5. Laullili or Tavana (one on the bench)

@Bus 2 Terrigal Lagoon how did the likes of Tavana, Herbert and Saukauru play today?
*Herbert was solid enough, without causing any real problems for the Bears defence

*Saukuru had some strong carry’s but I cant see him at NRL level just yet.

*I’ve been a Tino Tavana fan since his Matt’s Cup days and he scored a try with one of his typical leaps skyward yesterday. But sadly two bad handling errors led to two Norths tries - which ultimately proved the difference between the two sides.

Apparently it popped out and back in. Could be anything from 1 week off to 3 months. Fingers crossed it's not serious

If we can take some good news out if it was the lack of support he needed for the arm when walking off and sitting on the sideline. Wasn’t even holding it.

Hope May doesn’t miss much time .., they are extremely limited depth wise at the position ..,

I would love to see a right side center shake free from somewhere

Not a good injury the ligament supporting the joint has been stretched which means the joint is weak.He can strengthen the joint with rehab but the end result will be a reconstruction.
He might choose to play on with risk of it popping out again or have the surgery and miss the season.

Turiuva` is really well suited to the centres, moves well and is really clever with his ball movement and also his carries out of our end… I hope he stays ther next week if taylan out,,,, but Trell will be a big challenge for him,
Can be effective in attack on the wing, in the centres or at fullback. However, I think he is one of the worst defensive players in the comp

Even when we had the majority of the possession, the Cowboys were getting back to our end just going straight through the middle.

100% The shoreline was flattering, the cows played terribly. Dropped heaps of ball. When they kept it, they scored way too easy.
Look it’s our first game, but the defence needs a lot of work. We also need to slow and control the ruck, it’s way to quick to form a decent defence.

For what it’s worth, no visible strapping on his instagram story and went to SBW new restaurant today

Surely we'd put makasini up against him... a changing of the guards like battle.
