OFFICIAL Taylan "Tiny" May

So then if he was just terminated without his contract being paid out, which I'm assuming happened, he could sue Penrith for the value of his contract maybe.
you would think so unless penriff can come up with grounds for sacking him that will stand up in court

Get all the virtue signalling stuff, but were not in a great position to pick and choose on any criteria with 3 spoons and possibly a 4th heading our way
We desperately need talent,,and like all other clubs look the other way when it comes to the past.
But if history repeats..that becomes a dealbreaker

I’ve no idea if he’s guilty or not so not judging. I’d like to see quality players both on and off the field joining our club and we need a quality centre. We say we are pro family so this will be a tough call for the club to make where only one person knows the truth.
Well he is not guilty - i think you mean you don't know if he did it or not. Two entirely different things.

If we are only talking footy terms, the guy had his good season on the wing. Played poor at centre last year on return from an ACL injury before his suspension. If you want another winger, sure, get him. If you are expecting a gun centre then you might be in for an unpleasant time.

Looking at non-footy things, the guy is a violent thug. Now he knows he can get away with it. He'll do it again. Do you want to be the club represented when something like that hits the headlines? Remember the shame Matt Lodge brought to the club?

The signing is a no for me unless we are playing him on the wing, but I don't feel like we need wingers right now with Skelton and Turuva here.
Gee glad u ain’t running the club , lodge has been a model citizen since then , how about we look into ur pass , the nrl do a good job when these get out of line , exception MANN should have been banned for a year , but we all know why 🥴

You can bet your house the first clause that goes in his contract will be related to recent court case reasons.

He'd have to agree to some pretty stringent rules set by the club in any contract offered to him. He's a proven risk for a club to sign, any contract must reflect that.
In saying that, if he can behave like 85% of all other NRL players do, MAY-be he's worth a shot 🤣. Centre is our Achilles Heel.

.
But he comes from a really rough upbringing , by Terrell Mays own admission , and sometimes it takes events like this to, and more importantly the world coming down on him , justifiably , for him to accept responsibility and look for change . These would be the questions I’d be putting to him , prior to any contract signing . Because even the most self absorbed , narcissistic, sociopath in the world could see that at the very least these actions won’t fly . Hopefully he’s none of those things , and he’s just a young guy who has messed up views on how relationships are . So can be treated with therapy , and self improvement .
Because he’s a gun footy player . But so was Ben Barba …

Sorry Demps, my comments were solely footy.

But absolutely with you.

If he doesn't work on himself, he won't last wherever he ends up. Hopefully being with big bro, who (appears to) have a better head on his shoulders would help.
Also could hinder Terrell… at the moment he’s just focused on himself but bring Taylan along will he feel the need to constantly make sure he’s on the right track which could impact his game?

He's stated repeatedly that he wanted to play with his brothers, and trains with them constantly - his also said 100x over that what attracted him to the club was Benji's family first mantra. If anything, having him here with that support around him will help him imo. See what happens...
