Taylor / Farah

Not another 300 pages of this crap please.

It's over. Let's move on. No one won and no one lost. Some bad publicity, so what? It goes to every club.

Renew your membership or don't. Just shut up about it.

Agreed. :deadhorse:

The problem is the club has handed the power back to Farah , the same person who has run the club for how many years now

If people really knew what he gets up to behind the scenes ….......

 cmon Happy, we dont bloody care!
If he plays good footy in 16 he'll remain our first choice number 9, if not, he has a lot of competition and will have to cop the coaches decision on the chin as his strategy to save his contract will only work this one time. He knows it, as does everyone.

So apparently Robbie believes privately that with his economics degree that he can one day be CEO of the club.

Where has he said this Privately that he will be a future CEO ?

Robbie already runs the club FT

When a coach is forced to apologize in front of the players to another player you know who is in charge

I hate these comments. You don't know the whole story.

No I don't know the whole story

But the bits of the story I do know would amaze some , and why no one at the club is doing everything and anything to stop it

You can stop it happy, just LET IT GO. Talk about something else. Anything else.

I reckon Cleary would be standing in front of a mirror checking whether black, gold and white suits his complexion, he will be wearing that colour tie come round 1

I think both guys have learnt a lesson and now both want to do the best for the club that feeds them well. If true that Woods will be earning $950 PA without backending then we really cannot complain about Robbies $700+?? PA without backending. Robbie has the reputation of always having a go so we can't begrudge him if we are paying forwards more. If we don't let Robbie settle down and play his best it is only ourselves and the club who will be short-changed. He is apparently training fantastically upon which he was going to be judged on December 22 - well he has surpassed that deadline. I can't imagine him non performing after all this drama.

All JT needs now is for the Board to announce that he still has their rock solid support. That almost always comes just before they wheel the guillotine out

Thats one way to look at it. Another way is if its true we are going to have another over paid player on our books that is going to stuff us up for years to come.

To every action there is an equal reaction

Expect a reaction and don't complain when it happens

We have chosen the past over the future , it's absolute madness :brick:

You are close…When one body exerts a force on a second body, the second body simultaneously exerts a force equal in magnitude and opposite in direction on the first body....Newton's 3rd Law...the key component is friction

“Yes he has,” Farah told The Australian. But that’s something that will remain between myself and the coach. In what form that apology came I won’t be commenting.”

Wait What…I'm pretty sure that's commenting...

All he did was confirm to the Australian that it did take place , he didn't go into details…..cut the guy some slack .
JT is the Dopey one here....apologizing in front of the players shows how weak he is and not having the confidence in going through with what he believes is in the best interest of the Club , play him in Reserve Grade you Dopey .

I got a phone call 2 Days ago from the Wests Tigers Membership Department and won't go into what was said , but lets just say DESPERATION was an understatement , our Memberships are an all time low.

Moral must be low i'm sensing...a division between the players and the Coach , for JT to have to apologize . You should never apologize for something you believe is the way forward :brick: .

Lets just hope this is the apology that heals everyone and we can truly Unite and have a Prosperous 2016 Season when all hope seems gone .

So you honestly think it was JTs idea to apologise to Farah in front of the players. Yea right. JT is well and truly under the thumb at present - pulled from all media involvement, the board going very quiet on how much they backed him, the perception by all and sundry that he is being hung out to dry - i hope he has got the balls to play him in reserve grade if he dishes up the rubbish football he has for the last 2 years - but i'm guessing if that happens it will be bye bye JT.

I stick up for him with regards to the stuff that gets stated on this board but this is pretty funny. Benji to me always came across as more likeable and I think a better player.

I don't believe he actually said it - it was reported how he may go to Super League in 2017 and come back to WT in some management role - I'm thinking it must have been the reporter suggesting with his economics degree he could one day be CEO although it did read like Farah said it. I've tried to find the article but it looks like it has been pulled.

What he said ^^^^.

Given JT's earlier stance, there is no way that he would have done this of his own accord. Memberships and sponsorships mean money and if that is at risk, then someone must pay the piper.

That said I actually kind of believe that they will work it out. It's been done to death and I reckon they're both over it and want to move on.

Sure Robbie got what he wanted. But at least that ended the saga (even if it is just for the time being).

Was from a poster on this forum…to my knowledge it has not been reported in the Media...

He has made no secret that with his economics degree he believes he could handle CEO role down the track either at the Tigers or NRL.

It could be more palava or words could have been put into his mouth.
