Taylor

I don't know why, but it seems some are misrepresenting what he's saying. He said Farah was dropped due to cohesion. There's probably other issues sure, but when the coach cites team dynamic as the excuse for dropping a player, form of other players becomes a redundant argument because form was not the reason given for the player that was dropped.

JT said it was because it was due to attacking cohesion. It is his belief there are too many playmakers in the team, which is laughable, hence why wrong or right, Robbie went off at him about the team scoring 30+ points in the last 3 of 4 games he played.

Either way you look at it the timing of it stinks. If this was about the team dynamic, you shouldn't be dropping one of your best players for the most important game of the season.

My point exactly, Taylor is treating the supporters look fools expecting us to believe that spin. Even the anti-farah brigade thought we looked good with Farah coming of the bench. We won 2/2 scoring 30+ points in both games. So Farahs argument about cohesion makes no sense. There is more to this , and more going on behind the scenes that we dont know about and im sure it will come out in due time. Just sad this happens now and it really hope it doesnt de rail our season. Because if the answer is getting one good half of footy (he looked good in the 1st half) and then having Rankin there with Lovett trying to play centre, then there goes our finals chances down the drain.

If what your saying is true why was Farah not dropped at the start of the year when it didnt look like he was gelling with the halves and we lost a few gsmes with him. Why drop him when we have won our last 2 games with him coming of the bench and have scored over 30 points in both games. There is no consistency in his argument. Its either 1 personal and Taylor wants him gone, or 2 the club is throwing Taylor under a bus to get rid of both of them. The thing is Farah is going no where if he is left short changed. I cant begrudge him that because i know if my employer owed me money id be getting every cent they owed me out of them.

Because the board probably wanted to go down the path of negotiation earlier in the year and threatening Farah or punishing him by dropping him to reserve grade would have been counter-productive to negotiations. Those negotiations may have failed and the next season is now on the horizon so they're resorting to punishment to try and clear him out. That's all complete speculation but it seems possible to me looking at how things have played out over the season.

I love supporters that are use to mediocrity and accept that as a norm. This club has no culture because of the of the acceptance of this failure to achieve.A few wins and you find that acceptable. I don't. Until the club changes culture it will never succeed nor attract members or good players.

If you stopped and thought about things for awhile, you might realise that the culture is exactly what is the focus of JT right now. He and many of the supporters are absolutely sick of players running the show.

Agreed.Today's win showed character considering Wobbies whinge and as a whole you can tell on and off the field the club is moving full steam ahead away from its rabble and towwards much better days.

Full steam ahead how? How is Taylor focussing on culture? by selecting the best 17 players available?

I saw 17 players yesterday giving their all for the club and not one of them is gonna go on national T.V having a big cry against the club they profess they love.None of them white anted(kebab slapped) the two previous coaches.Robbie owned a restaurant might of gone with a bit too much hummus.Im removing the term white ant and replacing it with kebab slapped.

Taylor frustrates the hell out of me. He has got the nucleus of something very special right in front of him but is so consumed with ousting Farah that there is no way he can possibly have his mind on the job of getting the most from the players.
Bugger the future - you and Farah will both not be there - coach what you have got in front of you now for God sake.

And that is what shoots his argument out of the water, he is trying to force Farah out under a BS guise of cohesion, when he lets other non performers carry on every week and doesn't even pick a hooker in the 17.
That then requires 3 other players to play out of position to let the secondrower playing hooker have a rest, how can that be cohesive, if Taylor jus fessed up and told the truth, or at least try and back his argument with picking the best 17 each week he may have some cred, until then he has none.

It doesn't matter if he's the best. If he doesn't do what is asked of him he's out. If he doesn't follow instructions, then he's not one of the best in the 17 or for that matter, the entire squad.

So JT tells Kev to rush out of the line every week and let in try's, tells Brooks to miss more than 5 tackles a match, tells the right side defence we need a minimum of 2 try's scored down there against us every week, great instructions they are :crazy
If they are not following instructions then why are they not dropped.

An out of contract rein no less.

There were times yesterday when Robbie would have been invaluable.

Given that he was replaced by Joel Edwards perhaps we should be asking what exactly did HE bring to the result yesterday. And what was the selection thinking behind it?

It is impossible for me to believe that the current NSW SOO hooker IS NOT among the best 17 players at our club EVERY week.

You sound like an imbecile and almost racist there. The only reason Sheens and Potter is not here is solely because of Farah. Had nothing to do with results ah lol. Not making semis had nothing to do with those coaches not coaching the tigers. They were also such good coaches that they moved on and are now succesfully coaching another NRL team lol lol. Taylor will not be here next year and im sure the anti farah brigade will put it on him aswell lol. Wouldnt have anything to do with him having no idea how to manage a team, or to improve our team. And fhe fact that our so called defence guru has given up on improving defence and wants better cohesion in attaxk lol.

LCA there is no question Robbie Farah is a very talented player and is one of our best 17 however when you combine his off-field antics the fact that Moses and Brooks take a greater role without him and the $950,000 contract he commands I am happy to move forward without him.

Do you not understand that the Tigers will be paying the majority of that $950,000.
Some are praising the club for it's improved culture but how this situation has been handled is a complete farce. The Tigers are a club divided with the media the only winners. This situation will not be resolved until Farah & Taylor are both gone.

Wont be paying a cent if he gets sacked.Id be sacked if I said that about my boss on T.V as would 99% of you guys on here.

Hopefully the side goes well with the remaining games this year….Would be good to see the side play well and nice to see some of Taylor's egotistical loudmouth critics from this site with egg on their faces.

I am a bit bemused why Jason Talyor needs to be sacked at seasons end ..the team is sitting 2 points out of the 8 and 4 points from 6 ,add to this with a bounce of the ball the Tigers could of won another 4 games .This season could be the best season the club has had in years , so I guess he should defiantly be sacked after all the huge percentage of supporters of this club thrive on mediocrity !and Taylor has achieved this as well as deal with that Moronic Farah.Yes sack Talyor?

I don't see any evidence that the club is divided. Fans are disagreeing but the club seem pretty united on this issue.
