Te Maire Martin

What are we going to do with him… We now have Brooks, Moses, Drinkwater. (Molten is crap). He will deserve to play first grade but might only get an opportunity through injury.. It's a bit like Austin.. Do we let him go? Thoughts ??

We will have to let him go unfortunately. He will be FG quality.

Will replace Fafita, Koro and Austin as the one everyone says we should have kept.

It would be a shame to see him go. I know there isn't much room for him at the tigers but I really hope he keep him (don't know where though).

Love his passing game and the try he scored against Parra 2 weeks ago was pretty special too. Perhaps just needs to work on his defense. But he will be a star.

He'll be a star and he's very close mates with a number of our juniors but i don't know how we keep him.By next season he'll be in and out of first grade. He's still young and filling out. Don't know how patient he'll be or whether a bench spot will suffice, but even then he's competing with Cherrington for a potential small guy on the bench spot.

Robbie needs to lift his game and starting playing to his ability as we've got the next 10 years of the club's future waiting patiently. At his best he can help them grow and lead them to the future, but when he's not focused he may do more harm than good.

So many once in a generation players at the same time. Frustrating!!

I hate to say it but the guys stands out more then Moses did and probably brooks did in the 20s. I'll be filthy if we lose him.

He's actually had a very quiet start to the year. Levido has been organising the team around the field and done a majority of the playmaking, with Martin only injecting himself here and there.

He's still scored a couple and set up a couple more but he was more consistent and involved last season.

And disagree that he stands out more then Brooks and Moses. They've all done well in the NYC, and while TMM was 5/8 of the season last year the others had better all around games than he does.

Just hypothetically, if Moses doesn't improve all season I wonder if they'd have to have a look at the other in-house option.

Mason Cerruto is our future centre anyway. Nofa/Naqiama wings & Simona/Cerruto centres…if Hoeter doesn't crack it.

I never had massive raps on him, i rate Satherwaite tho. Can't keep em all i guess, Cerruto is my favourite of the lot. If we hadn't already re-signed Naiqama i would be calling for him to be dropped too.

Cerruto, who's played what 2 games in the centres as a temporary fill in? Who isn't even first choice fullback (his regular position). But he may well be shortly

Satterthwaite will need to put on a lot of weight to make it as a first grade winger.

Seve and Heleta are miles ahead of all our other centres. And Tohi and Kharwin are our best wingers. The rest are just backups for now. But you need good backups as injuries and suspensions happen.

But this isn't a NYC squad thread, so back to TMM…
