Team for Foundation Cup

I haven't really been impressed with Schirnack. Doesn't seem to do anything other than run the ball up with minimal impact. Hopefully he's improved in the off season and isn't a waste on the bench. Would love to have seen Fifita get a go off the bench.

yes the shirnak brothers dont exactly light my fire either

Sorry I forgot - Could someone please tell me what time kick off is for the game this weekend.

20's 4pm…First Grade 6pm

I have no real problems with our side except for the fact that Arana is not there and Fitzhenry is. Wont worry to much about it considering its a trial but I really hope Fitzhenry comes no were near our 17 throughout the season.

I cant see Fulton playing in the 2nd row. I think Fonz will play him off the bench for Robbie Farah.

well take off your blind fold & watch, he will be either left or right side 4 in from side line…

Sir Sheens has named a strong team. Keep up the good work Timmy. Great to see Boz and Fitz back in the squad. Lui gets first crack at the 7 is encouraging for the young lad. With Taumata to line up for Balmain (the team he is contracted to) and get a full 80mins under his belt. Benji and Robbie to most likely only play 40mins IMO.

Bring on the Chooks ! :sign:

My thoughts exactly, and Fulton should be lock as well.

I think the side is great and is basically close to wat we will be seein for round 1… From wat ive heard Woods will prob see some time against the roosters

I know it's only a trial but we must be 0 and plenty in these pre-season cup games. I don't remember us beating Parra in the charity cup, we got towelled up by the Titans in 2008 and we've lost all the Foundation Cup games.

Come to think of it when was the last time we won a bona fide trial game (i.e. both teams fielding something near their best teams?

I suspected this might be the case. Interested to see how an off-season with the top squad has benefited him.

Lets not be overly critical of our Guys or our Club.

Fwds dont peek till a little later in their careers.. Remeber Galloway for the first few seasons.

Better footy minds/mentors than us are managing the influx of new talent when they're reaquired and ready…

Looking forward to the trial on Sat...

I actually like Big Al (I havent seen Jason play very much). He has made more of impact than Gibbs did at the same stage of his career and I think he makes good metres on each hit up. With more game time I am looking for him to have a very big year.

That and finally an off season as a fulltime footballer. It makes a massive difference

He's injured. Highly doubt he will play this weekend..

Alan never impressed me too much but I watched a fair bit of Jason in Toyota cup last year and thought he was a talent. He runs the ball staight and hard and knocks people over. I think in the future Jason could become quite a good player. However I wouldnt be giving either of them priority over Fafita or Woods.
