De javu….......

Lui on the bench what a waste.......

Fulton at 13 …WHAT a waste

Amongst all the rubbish that is posted from time to time on here the anti-Fulton comments in my view are close to the most bizarre. Whatever he has done to draw such criticism will always remain a mystery to me.

PP,

It might have something to do with the fact that he is the only first grade second rower to ever lose ground. I actually like Liam but feel that Dwyer, Mataka, Gower, Moors and many others represent better options. Last time Liam was here he was too small to play second row and, as Sheens said, too slow to play in the halves. Like always, I hope he proves me wrong and this year finds some long missing penetration. At one stage I rated Liam very highly but like many of the 2005 brigade he didnt quite develop into the player that it seemed he would.

Agreed Pete, embarassing to be giving Fulton heaps…..I just dont get it either.

We all expected him to explode after 05,but injuries cruelled him,but I thought he had a wow of a year in 08 and was looking really sharp for 09 b4 he went overseas.......he really took one for the team by doing that.

Im excited having him back and I expect him to go really well.

Lets not forget his is a tackle machine and has really good skills to boot.

Disagree. Despite the signing of Lote, Mullaney is highly regarded by people high up at the Tigers and they won't let him go without a fight, and I doubt Mullaney wants to leave anyway.

Rogers and Sailor never really became as lethal as they were since coming back from a stint in union. Do you think Tuqiri is going to be as lethal as he used to be?

Their names are thrown around heaps here on the forum,

Are they the standout to crack FG this year?
Are they WT cant function without them types?

If so Why

Jake Mullaney…Wests Junior came to the club as a half but had Lui, Florimo and Nichols ahead of him so he shifted to Fullback....Debut in Round 1 NYC last year and never looked back...Excellent support player at that level and can kick goals....Think a young Hodgson....Only thing keeping him out of FG IMO is his age...

Rhys Pritchard...Western Suburbs State Cup player can play centre or wing....one of the Leading try scorers in NSW Cup last year....has plenty of pace and strength and can break a tackle.....Was 18th man for the Wests Tigers in the last couple of games in 09..He would be there or thereabouts making his FG debut.

Andrew Fafita....dominated NYC last year....hard runner of the football, can pass before the line and in traffic. Scored 15 tries and along with Woods his brother David laid the foundation for the teams charge into the Grand Final...As far as first Grade goes .....it's a huge step up for a forward but I hope Fafita gets the chance....Sheens may give him some time off the bench.....

The answer to your last question is....Injury Gods but I'm glad we have the Young talant we have at the Club than any other....Afterall they where robbed of a Premiership last year......

also, Mullaney consistently scored multiple runaway tries in each match. Think of a mix between slater and hodgson.
The guy is a freak!

Mmm last minute decision n need some info. I managed to get Sunday off work and am able to go to the fc. Can I get tickets at the ground or just pop on to ticketek??

Whoever thinks that Mullaney is ready have rocks in there head hes too small (lets not bring up the half a dozen small blokes to MAKE it in first grade) the kid has loads of potentional and tonnes of growin to do… At teh moment there r 4 or 5 better options for fullback... Let him muture and see him flourish in the future

Disagree.I think Rogers has been great since he came back. One thing in our favour is that Lote is a better athlete than Rogers or Dell.
