Why is this game being played on SUNDAY at 6.00 pm? IS there a public holiday on the MONDAY that i dont know about.?

Was changed from Sat to Sun,,,or maybe it was initially Fri - not sure- anyway because of a clash with Sydney FC and their semi final or some rubbish.
6pm because its still rather warm during the day during summer

So, if you were a 19 year old, who had just had a stellar year at fullback, who was only given a one year extension after the Grand Final in which you nearly single handedly won for your team on one leg for a lot of it, and was looking to break into the top squad either this year or next, and then you read in the paper that the Recruitment Department went out and signed a 30 year old to play your position for the next 3 years and pay him $400,000 a year for the privilege, that you would actually WANT to re-sign with the club?

Considering the way they treated you and how long it took for them to actually sign you when you were carving up opposition and scoring tries at will? To only action a contract AFTER your Grand Final performance?

Mate, the Tigers would have to offer me around $80,000 for the next 3 years with performance bonuses built in to keep me if they treated me that poorly.

The Wests Tigers took up the option on Mullaney's contract before the Grand final…..

Sheens Rates him highly ...has done since he's been with the Club....so much so it cost us Gallant......Sheens doesn't loose to many Juniors....http://www.weststigers.com.au/default.aspx?s=article-display&id=20695&sheens-likes-what-he-sees-in-mullaney" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The Sharks may have been circling but they where never a chance....

I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a run in the Foundation Cup after playing half a game in the 20's....

Just saw you can get 4 junior/concession tickets free with each adult ticket if you buy them off Ticketek. Anybody know if they will offer this at the gates on Sunday as well?

Where did you see this? I wasn't going to go but maybe I will if that is the case.

Thanks so much Geo - that is great. I just purchased the families tickets

I wonder if many ordered several child/concession tickets at $10 each with their membership application.
It would be pretty rude of Wests Tigers to take this money if they knew this deal would be going ahead….it should be offered to members applying as well.

Any one know who will be goal kicking??

Marshall i'm guessing, now Collis is gone ,I think Chris Lawrence would be next in the queue.

If he is will be interesting to see how he hits them, but im sure he has been working hard in the off season, i bet the poor bloke is hopeing he doesnt have to kick as many from the sideline again this season

Yeah I hope Benji has been practicing his conversions in the offseason. If he has improved we might be able to win more of those close games..

The sharks are circling, not Sharks. There is more than one club that want his signature and one of them is a powerhouse of the competition that would see him gain an inside run into rep teams.

He is playing the second half of the FG game.

Oh let me guess….Brisbane....so when they turn Kahu into a 5/8th ...Mullaney can slot straight in at fullback.....

Can't wait to see him carve up the Rorters on Sunday then...........

I would rather mullaney or for that matter Lazarus at fullback then tuquri in the long term to be honest. So i will be glad if mullaney gets a run in this game.
