Fitzhenry will most probably start. He always finds a way into the team. Everyone here knows that.

He'll be in the 17 unless he is injured or gets injured. I wonder how one of our angry Wests Tigers fans is feeling right now after Fitzy being in the team everyweek. We haven't heard from him since the Tuesday arvo after Round 1.

Brown hesitates in defence and doesnt involve himself looking for the ball, particularly working it off the line.
Ayshford needs to work on his D in the reggies.

Mate this back line is aweful….sorry but Fitz at one is a disaster, Fulton in the centers is a waste of his abilities, Brown doesnt deserve to be dropped, in fact he should go to wing and Ryan to fullback.

By the way, Fitzy made 75metres yesterday from 9 runs with 1 tackle break.

Ben Farrar, the Eagles fullback, made 70metres from 11 runs with 2 tackle breaks.

Too think that Manly dominated us and yet our fullback was the equal of theirs.

This reply is for those bashers looking for a scape goat.

He was going so great that even Sheens moved him from fullback to the wing, with Brown going to fullback. Do you think that Fitzhenry would have saved that try in the corner? No way. He is past his best, not his fault, but Sheens should be held accountable for his continued selection.

   Fitzy's selection is so stupid, we are coming equal second….

The new mantra….Sheens should be held accountable.....unless we are going well and are successful adn then we find someone else accountable that fits our agenda.

I do love all the experts on here, If it wasn't so sad it would be hilarious. Big tip guys you're not coaches, never will be (under 6s is not the same, sorry) and you don't have that special inside Tiger knowledge you think you do..no one thinks you're clever, neither is it going to make you more popular. Sheens IS the coach and last time i looked we are 4th but OH MY GOD..WE LOST…christ man the life boats lets get off the team must be shit. :unamused:

The team will be what Sheens' chooses and if B Ryan and Ellis are back fantastic. If McKinnon isn't fit yes he will probabaly pick Fitzy again, you know what he isn't that bad. Just because that moron standing on the hill says he is you don't have to believe him. He is a good utility all teams need one, he is ours. He runs out in Tiger colours and while he does give him your support or bugger off. This goes for all players, while they run out wearing our colours they deserve our backing it's called being a supporter. Slagging players, coaches and staff off is just not on...Manly have a team of boof heads and i'll not trade any of that kind of player for any of ours.

Good points Iron Tiger

I'll go further. To make my point **_IN MY OPINION_** I can not understand why Fitzy gets picked over say Sean Meaney, nor why Skando gets picked over Moors or last week Fifita, but as a fan I put faith in Sheens, particularly in the face of good results and hope he has good reason.

This is the thing, what if Moors was being kept in State Cup due to poor training or poor attitude or similar (**PLEASE NOTE THIS IS HYPOTHETICAL, I HAVE NO REASON TO THINK THIS IS TRUE**). If this was the case it is EXACTLY what we would be expecting our coach to be doing. Moors may be training the house down but we dont know and for that reason it is pointless for a thousand threads asking the same question.

As we are not told why Fitzy keeps getting the gig over what many punters consider better players and like wise with Skando its only fair to expect we are going to draw our own conclusions. Now I dont expect the club to come out and say Moors or any other players are being held back for attitude or discipline reasons but I also dont think its unreasonable for us the punters to voice our own ideas, even if they are half baked

Totally agree, and as a forum it would be a pretty dull and quiet place if we didnt. I guess my point would be that there has to be some level of faith in the coach, back by recent results. I merely placed that hypothetical in to raise the possibility that Sheens has taken these steps genuinely for the future development of the team and the players. Also surely there is a limit as to how many times we can write and read "Lets get rid of Fitzy"? I think I have hit my threshold.

I sincerely hope for your sake you don't actually agree with this.

I'm with the others though, everyone knows Fitzy is a complete liability, its a waste of time bothering to discuss it any longer as we all know it is not changing. He will be there every week regardless of form, injuries, results. It's not worth discussing as it just becomes more frustrating.

I also have a big rap on young Nicholls but six weeks out from the finals series isnt a good time to be trying a new no7\. Lets face it he has probably never even had a run with the top grade. Makes it near impossible to be able to call plays and help direct our attack. IMO should have been tried when Lui '"so called did his knee" a few back. We have to stick with Lui now and he will do okay

So you would have Fitzhenry over Watmaugh, Lyon etc. etc. just because you think that they are boofheads? You have been drinking too much Kool Aid.

You expect other people to take the continued selection of Fitzhenry without comment.(He is a good clubman, as am I, however, you should not be selected on that alone. What you bring to the team both in attack and defence should come into it). Go through all the young backs in the Balmain, Wests and NYC sides and if you can't find one player who offers more than Fitzhenry then you are not trying.

And if some to these players leave the Weststigers to go elsewhere because they cannot get a run in first grade, you would most likely be the first one to complain. Pinhead award to you.
