Team List R24 - NYC
Wests Tigers Holden Cup Coach Willie Peters has named his side to take on the Penrith Panthers this Friday afternoon in their Round 24 clash at Pepper Stadium.

Kickoff for the match is at 5:35pm as Wests Tigers look to bounce back from a two-point defeat to the Gold Coast Titans and keep their hopes at a top four spot alive this week.

Just two points off fourth spot with three weeks remaining, Wests Tigers face a tough ask on Friday against a Penrith side that could wrap up the Holden Cup minor premiership, but will take confidence from their encounter in the year which went down to the wire.

Peters has named a strong side for Friday's match, with co-captain Jack Wheelhouse to return from injury off the interchange bench in the only change to last week's team.

Tough ask against the Panthers this week. If we can get to within 10 points of them we'll be doing well.

4'— TRY TIME! Lovely grubber from Veiru Mapesone and Tony Tali gets to the ball first to score out wide! We lead 4-0, KTC!

5'— Roman Ioelu nails the tough conversion from out wide in the wind to give us a 6-0 lead over the top-of-the-table Panthers!

6'— Panthers put the ensuing kickoff out on the full and we'll go right back on the attack, starting just 30m out now!

9’— CLOSE! Esan Marsters is over out wide but he’s pinged for a double movement and the Panthers get a reprieve. We lead 6-0

14' - Daniel Roberts is leaving the field on a stretcher after an illegal tackle. We will keep you updated on his condition

25' - A huge bomb from the Panthers halfback Jarome Luai is spilt by Obed Karwhin. Penrith on the attack but we still lead 6-0

27' - Panthers centre Christian Chichton strolls over in the left corner from a Dylan Edwards ball. We lead 6-4 KTC

28' - The sideline conversion attempt from Luai is waved away. We hold a 6-4 lead over the Panthers

39'— Clever run from dummy half by Jacob Liddle draws a penalty and we'll have one last chance here before half-time

Would be great to get a win here and push for top 4 as on their day this team can beat anyone but with young blokes consistency is hard to get!

46’— Panthers try. Kick is deflected and Billy Burns crashes his way over out wide. Luai can’t convert and we now trail 8-6

57'— TRY TIME! Toni Tali burrows his way over in the corner for his second try of the game and we now lead 10-8,

58'— Roman Ioelu can't convert and we now lead the top-of-the-table Panthers 10-8 as Jacob Liddle returns from his sin-bin.

61'— TRY TIME! Jakob Giles straightens and finds some space in the Panthers line to crash over! We now lead 14-8

70'— Panthers applying some pressure now, and they get a fresh set of six 10m from our line. We lead 16-8

71'— TRY SAVER! Esan Marsters with an absolute beauty of a cover tackle and he saves the day in the corner! We lead 16-8.

73'— TRY TIME! Jacob Liddle with another break up the middle, and Esan Marsters finishes it off in the corner! We lead 20-8, KTC!
