TEAM LIST Team List Vs Parramatta (Round 2)

Team List
Not happy about the hot day predicted jr that can cause headaches in defense, there should be 20 minutes then drink breaks you would think.
What temp are they predicting for Parra Stadium on Sunday Rock Hopper?
I know we're getting 33c up here on the Mid Nth Coast, you'd think Western Sydney would be hotter?

Faataape, How many tries did best get on the weekend. His winger got one from a broken play after bad pass from best. Got him every day ahead of the plank of wood (Toa). How many goes did he get there, heaps! But mostly like 90%+ below average games, I don’t get it. Faatape has heaps more attacking skills and only a touch worst than toa. We need tries
What about Doueihi ?
Not a mention about his feeble attempt of a tackle 10 metres out from the knights try line that led to the Pole cover defence tackle just over 1/2 way and a try not much later.
It wasn’t a hard tackle to make,
winger running across field just brushed Doueihi off like he wasn’t there,
it wasn’t a surprise to me as he always has had lapses in concentration and effort when it comes to defending.
I think it was lucky for Doueihi that he wasn’t marking Best otherwise I think he would be finding himself in Ressies this week.
This is not from one game he has always had these lapses in his game.

I’m a bit concerned about all the hype about how Bula will help our attack, I don’t see him as a big attacking threat,IMO a very good honest player who defends well but I believe Mason offers more in attack than Bula.
I mentioned last year and still would like to see Bula turned into a Centre with us trying Turuva at fullback.
Just my thoughts thinking of improving our attacking game.

Wow, a glass half full! Mate how long has he been here 3-4 years and how many good games in that time 4-5? One a year, yeah red hot form, he plated one great game and two good games hardly red hot!!
As I said, he had about 4 weeks of good form.... I'm not pretending he's some sort of gun but he has good footy in him is my point. Unfortunately he can't stay on the field!

Overall his time here has been disappointing.

His injury last year was very poorly timed, he had 9 try involvements in his last 6 prior to being sidelined.

Our spine won't click straight away but hopefully it doesn't take them too long... I don't have much faith in Benjis attacking gameplan however.

I thought Douehi looked gassed last weekend. Hopefully the run will help a bit.

Bula can catch a bomb at least under pressure. Mason couldn't do that last week. But your thoughts are valid.

Comparing the team lists I see many positions where we have the edge over Parra but still worry about the center comparison
Last week it was Faataape & Douehi vs Best & Gagai who are both elite centers
This week it is Toa & Douehi vs Penesini & Lomax again a tough match
Douehi is needed and his goal kicking of late is special kicked his last 7
Toa has great sidesteps and attacking flair .Important the edge forward on his side is a tackling machine to help here .

not ideal and there'll be drinks breaks, but that's why it's so important to ensure we don't gift them opportunities. we need to kick to the right places and wear them down.
Eels are also coming off a 33-degree game against Storm so not ideal for them to play 2 back-to-back 30+ degree games.

But ultimately it'll come down to mental resilience in dealing with the fatigue. I think having smalls TDS & Bird on the bench & 2 big minute middles in May & Twal plus very fit backrowers in Fainu & Seyfarth will be an advantage for us.

Also Tuilagi is a witches hat in defence . Crazy he’s never improved that after all these years .

Last week my confidence disappeared as the week went one, this week my confidence has increased as the week has gone on. Think man for man we have them covered and Luai will be better for the run last week. Penisini and Lomax are the main worry for me (Lomax always seems to carve us up)

Can't afford to lose too many of these types of games if we want to make something of this year, last week was already a big missed opportunity hence the frustration from fans
