A few inclusions/exclusions that surprised me.

The wingers surprised me, that said I dont think we have ever really had a top winger.

I also thought that Terry Hill would have got the centre spot ahead of Whatuira, that said Fats was super in '05.

Fats was a very underrated player. Pretty sure he played in 3 G/F's for 3 clubs. Big effort if true.

I thought they would have got Senter in there, I wouldnt picked him, but he is a club favourite.

Was glad Buckets got a starting spot, he was terrific for us in the early days.

I'm glad Whatuira is there. Almost the forgotten man when it comes to the 05 side. Should have stayed on past 06.

Tuaki was a great winger imo. Richards - far better than an average NRL player and not too far short of SOO level. (And we probably missed his best years when he went to the ESL). Not sure about O'neill and Fults. I think I'd have had Payten there. A very small bench too.
All in all, not a bad side.

Why were the wingers surprising? I thought that was probably the only option. Tuqiri achieved more than any of the wingers but he didn't do a great deal for us at the tigers.

RIchards hasn't really played that much for us, his best years were in the UK.

Tank was pretty good I guess, but more a fan favourite than a star.

That said there was no real standouts for the wing spots, Tuquiri was pretty good in 2010, thought they might have put one of the McGuinness boys on the wing, and Hoppa was actually really good for us, despite his obvious short comings.

McCracken is another I thought might have got a mention (obviously not on the wings) again, he was very good early.

Who's not there?

Benji, Hodgson, Taniela, laffranchi, Ellis? Am I missing anyone?

nope that's it, Hodgo, Ellis and I think Laffranchi are in England

Benji, I assume, couldn't take time out from training maybe? seems odd that he's not there, as well as TnT

God what i would do to have that side still running around at there peak , i got the feeling we are brewing a great side within the next 2 years , provided injuries go our way for a change .
Congrats to our inductees in our 15 year side.

I'd guess we'll do another one of these in either 10 or 15 years time, and then a 50 year team
Hope Im still around to see them

Love the photos:

Surprised TnT wasn't in the photo that I've seen

Why would he be there? Last I heard he was filthy at the club (and rightfully so)

When you have a duty of care for someone, then promise them a charity fundraising gala and other support and then never call them again….

Joking you knob….

The fact he made the team along with Richards, Tank and Fats shows how weak we have been in these positions year after year after year....

All 4 are solid, none of them are star material. Hopefully when the 20 year side is announced, not a single one of them are selected.
