Usually schools like that give scholarships and it is a condition of the scholarship that they are available for the school first and foremost. It's a private school.

Strictly speaking, even if you're not on a scholarship it's very hard to tell the school you won't be playing school sport. It's compulsory.

While I disagree with any political push from private entities, he is also entitled to make the forum how he wants and we have no right to free speech on his site. There's also a cheer squad on here that love that he's done it, so there's 2 sides I guess.

I think Douehi at 13 is actually overcomplicating things for our halves, he is a ball hog and needs to stay in the background and provide a link. I would shift him back to the centres in place of Toa, who is hopeless.

Sadly the dogs will do a number on us, our forwards especially our current 2nd rowers Seyfarth and Sukkar are dog poo and will get destroyed. Toa will let in at least two tries if we are lucky, but it could be a lot more.

I think it’s more likely to be some sort of interwebby virus thing (although I’m sure Dennis Burgess & HBG will get the blame) 🤷‍♂️

I can usually see a path to victory against most teams we play, however the style of the bulldogs with their physicality, second phase play and Burton's kicking game, will unfortunately lead to a significant defeat for us. I had this marked down from round one as a 100% guaranteed loss no matter how well the team was travelling. We just don't have the skill to counterbalance their physicality. Perhaps in 2026. So there will be a NRL blackout in my household this weekend.
