Team v Eels Round 6

I wait in eager anticipation of the team announcement this afternoon hoping for change and the dropping of the serial underperformers. If its the same old, same old with the ritual dropping of a newbie rather than the serial underperformers that will do me for the season. I'll be out except for recruitment / retention issues, this lot has just killed my passion.

Yep the same. There's at least a few players that need to be in reserves for awhile. Or gone.

1. Staines
2. To'a
3. Naden
4. Kepaoa
5. Tupou

6. Bateman
7. Wakeham

8. Twal
9. Koroisau
10. Klemmer
11. Papali'i
12. Blore
13. Matamua

14. Simpkin
15. Pole
16. Utoikamanu
17. Ofanegaue

If Staines is having a poor game I would swap Tupou and him around.

I have gone for attacking options and to tie up the defence so went for Bateman at 5/8 and Matamua at lock

Sorry no Brooks, AD or Laurie. They can form the spine in State Cup for rest of season 2023
Perfect.

So apparently Benji rolled back the clock and put on a training masterclass yesterday to help the team stop Moses. Marshall produced some magical touches at Concord as he completed the entire session running with the opposition side - and directly opposite Luke Brooks. Marshall only gets hands-on for the majority of a session if the club is short on numbers. But his display in the training run, firing cut-out passes and directing traffic around the park, will be on par with whatever Moses can produce on Easter Monday.
And of course Brooks was full of praise. LOL
