tigers look good… on paper anyway!

i know there is no soward, wallace and idris, but im not really seeing where people are rating the panthers so highly this year?

am i missing some players they have?

Segeyaro is one of the best impact players going around these days.
Surprised Cartwright isn't named.
There's still a lot of forwards missing there including Elijah Taylor.
Quite a weak side for them. We could quite honestly destroy them given our squad is 100% minus injured players.
Kevin Naiqama is pretty dangerous but no one else really scares me

Me too, I expected more of their 20s boys getting a run - Cartwright, Jennings, Watene Zelezniak. Can't believe James Roberts is still eligible for 20s (injured or not).

Who knows with trials, the club sometimes names 17 and on game day 28 players turn up….plus there is a 20's trial as well on the day as well as reserve grade

James Roberts is injured, from memory he's injured his ankle or something. Was said he was going to be out for a couple of months..
Pity, because he was apparently voted the most likely player to stand out in the 9's tournament.

I remember in 2012 I went to the campbelltown roosters game. The rooster trotted out a team of complete I mean COMPLETE unknowns for the first 10 minutes.

The tigers literally toyed with them almost running drills, however when the "real" roosters came on (literally the ENITRE team marched off, and another ENTIRE team marched on, was very surreal) the game really started.

I sat behind the bench that night, and it was a real eye opener listening in to the coaching staff and how little they actually cared about the result.

From that point on I learned not to give any credence to trial game scores you see.

Yeah I was at that game too….an amazing sight seeing 13 go off ans another 13 go on....I couldnt work out what was happening at first

The only downside, albeit a trial, is if we get beat by that panthers side as named.
