Teddy called into City Side

tbh, i was very surprised he wasnt in it to begin with. didnt he play in this game last year or the year before?
and his form this season has been better than ever. very much deserved. congratulations teddy.

Deserves the call up ,I hope he kills it and then the selectors have to have a look at him for ORIGIN,that would be nice for him…its only a short career, the more he can do the better...just dont get injured....

i dont want to sound negative but i hate seen our players in these games, these are the one that should be scraped they dont do any thing except get players injured. the SOO team have already been picked so whats the use , look at the Aust team Salter got picked and he out injured what a joke.

The fact that he's playing on the wing shows that he's not being considered for soo. Don't like going round just for the sake of it.

I disagree, I think the experience can do wonders.

Look at how Teddy's game improved after he went to the WC with Italy. Some of these blokes will never get national or Origin rep honours, so a change of pace, exposure to different practices, recognition of performance can all make a positive impact that may not exist at club level.

Re the injuries, every time they lace a boot for training they are at risk, so I think better to try and manage the body as best possible, rather than worry about the frequency of playing. It's like worrying about a greater chance of crashing your car because you use it more, rather than just driving as safely as possible every time and keeping your maintenance up. Long-winded metaphor but you get my point.

He will get some time at fullback , as long as he doesn't get injured who cares

You can actually learn a lot about other players in these games

This is what players play for…rep honours.
To deny them this is so selfish

Good players get even better playing reps

**He's wasted on the wing**, but he and Roberts could cause trouble together.

Very much so and the rep selectors' penchant for picking fullbacks on the wing continues :unamused:

Wing or centre is where i see his rep future at the moment.

He can be dynamic in rep footy from the wing. Ask Boyd
