TEDDY NOT FITTING IN

TEDDY PLUCKED?

It's harsh to suggest that after just four weeks, high-profile Roosters recruit James Tedesco is a dud buy.

But what can be reported is that there are concerns within the Roosters hierarchy about the former Wests Tigers star's ability to adapt to the club's culture.

In fact, it's a concern that Tedesco's very own mind guru Joe Wehbe feared.

Wehbe, who has worked with a string of players and clubs, most recently the New Zealand Warriors, suggested to some of his clients that Tedesco's shift to Bondi where Trent Robinson runs a tight ship in regards to discipline, just wouldn't work.

I think the problem is Cronk is very structured and dominant in attack and Teddy is used to getting the ball when he wants it.

Teddy will just need to get with the program or be shopped around so Roosters can get Ponga or RTS.

Apparently someone else is not fitting in. Thisis a comment from a frustrated Eels' supporter after the game today. No names!

"Our highest paid player is an immature twat".

As good as Tedesco was for us he stifled so many backline moves. I reckon suli would of got the ball 1/5 times from teddy. He's just got to suck it up.

Jeez wehbe doing a good job at warriors is he at nz permanently now?

We got the best years out of Teddy but we failed to fully capitalise with a pip squeak forward pack up front which struggled to move forward.
If Teddy was still with us he would blossom with our beefed up pack making ground at will.
The Roosters have a good pack but Teddy’s a Westie not a Late so full acceptance will be difficult for him.
He’s had a lot of hard footy over the years and 2 knee reconstructions so he’s naturally slowed, I feel a bit sorry for him as he did give his all for us, not like the other 2 fat heads that have been shown up big time in highly structured and highly overrated teams .. so much for going to stronger clubs that are finals bound, pissing myself!

Pfft corvo is the one doing the work. Wehbe sounds like the biggest con artist. Its footy. Why the hell would you need a head talker?

He was a good player in year's past….
However does anyone else think the guy is an absolute weirdo?
Can't stand him in interviews and whatnot, comes across as an absolute little shark toothed creep.

Would happily take him back once his ego get a reality check (at a discount of course). Look at how Benji matured after a few years away from the Tigers.

No way would i want him back, twice he has walked out on the club.He is a true mercenary and only thinks about himself.

I heard Wehbe was around Parramatta and Warriors. He is tanking Parra but doing a good job with Kearney's men (probably a good stress breaker from Kearney).

Teddy would actually be a great solution to our NR1 problem. Cmon Roosters, you can pay 400k worth of freight for the next 3 years!!

So we should look at him again when he is 33.

Sounds good to me - then we can say NO THANKS!

I know a few of those line breaks last weekend would have been tries if he was sniffing around the ruck. I wouldn't be too proud to let him come back.

I've actually spoken to JP and he said he had nothing bad at all to say about Ted. He must have been good how he handled his exit internally.

You maybe right - I prefer a team player myself.

Recently he hardly ever passed on - went himself most times.

Misses as many tries as the team could have scored imo.

Plus the fact he didn't want to be here (which was obvious or he wouldn't have left).
