Teddy

Looking forward to seeing Tedesco go around next year, but as others have said, I only see real improvement in the Tigers if Sheens has some sort of epiphany and plays everybody in their best suited positions, and instils some defensive mongrel and pride in the team.

whats the bet Sheens selects Moltzen in the 1 next year with Tedesco the back on the bench

Nope. He'll either start at fullback in the NYC, or if he completely carves up during pre-season training as he did last pre-season, he may very well start again, but I'd be cautious and let him build some confidence up first.

Hope so! What position do you think Moltzen will play?

Moltzens only position in this side is an attacking bench player to be used 10 minutes before half time and at the death around the ruck. Think Craig Wing.

I spoke with his uncle last Thursday and he told me he was 100% fully recovered. Will mean he will have a longer and more thorough pre-season.

I saw enough in the 2 trials and 30mims against cronulla to say he would be out best fullback since hodgo. Admittedly that's not saying a lot but he looked the real deal and most importantly a REAL fullback!!!

If he is 100% fully recovered, can he not play in the NYC finals? Can you not bring players in for the finals if they haven't played first grade (or a full first grade game at least lol)

Uhh if he is 100% fit why the hell wouldn't you? What else is he going to do? Do we just never bring him back in case he gets injured again?

Good point AHX. I'd personally let him ease back into again.
Anyone know if he's been training?

Spoke to James on Saturday… He was confident and running again!!
If you bring him back to 20's do you bench Rudolph?? Hardly....
Lots and Lots of good options next year people...
Speaking of Rudolph, I also spoke to him on the weekend...
I was surprised how big he is!! And A real good kid....
At least we have something to be proud of this year with the kids coming through

Rudolph didn't even play last week. Got dropped.

Sorry but I'm keen for the Tigers to win the 20's and Tedesco playing will assist with that. I also enjoy watching good footballers. Selfish I know.

Rudolph was 18th man and warmed up with the team game day so he was still at the game.

As for watching good footballers there is plenty of talented good footballers in our 20's and coming through! Seriously ppl on this forum put so much pressure and expectations on these young blokes and completely forget the 20's is about DEVELOPMENT! Yes they are going to make mistakes, have highs and lows but it's all a learning curve to build and develop them into first graders! Hopefully!

Just because he is running doesn't mean he is ready for contact again.
Better to ease back into it
I'm studying Physio and it's a long process after an ACL recon (~24 weeks). He probably still wouldn't feel too confident/well stepping ATM let alone running into contact where it can get twisted.
Not worth him getting injured just for a u20s finals campaign.
