Teddy

He's ok. Above average. Not a Brasher but better than a Nevin

It's hard to say how it will pan out for him but injury free Tedesco has the potential to be as good as Brasher in my opinion.

If he lives up to his potential, he'll leave Brasher for dead.

Tedesco just needs to stay fit. His class will take care of everything else.

TBh, I have wondered why the hype about Moylan, yes, he's good , but I am amazed that he is being talked up so much. Tedesco (if he stays healthy) will blow Moylan off the park.
Good , but very Overated.

Geez K.S. - I was a little nonplussed after your first post - but figured you were probably talking tongue in cheek. I think he'll be better than Brash. In my opinion it's in some ways easier to play better at rep level when you are surrounded by the best players ala Brasher. To play at NRL level week in and week out at the top of your game and being head and shoulders above most other players is the toughest gig of all.
As others have said, Tedesco has the ability to be the equal of anyone we have seen - given an extended injury-free run.

He's got form Yeti; only hours ago he had Moses as a better kicker than Richards. Just his opinion of course but strangely provocative both.

Sarcasm PYMBLEPETE. On this occasion. I thought mentioning Nevin in the same breath at Teddy would make that obvious, clearly not. Throw in the fact as soon as someone replied with a genuine response I informed I was joking, to make it clear straight away rather than wait for more to misunderstand my comment. Hardly grandstanding.

The other issue which oddly has touched a nerve with you cos your still thinking about it is a genuine opinion. The fact that I like low trajectory goal kickers annoys u is strange.

Moses kicked 3 from 3 by the way, one out wide. Richards missed 2 from outwide last week.

The thing that excites me the most is that Teddy, Brookes and Moses have played together for years and dominated the junior ranks. The three together will be exciting this year but in the years to come, eventually be the dominant trio that cronk, Inglis and Slater were.

Get ready for the bandwagoners who have been hiding since 2005 because they're about ready to jump on again!

Better than Brascher, sure.

But what about Don Parish, John Dorahy or Brett Hodgson?

I rate him higher than both Dorahy and Hodgson at the same age. Cant comment on Don Parish.

If Teddy stays injury free,he will be NSW and Australian fullback for quite awhile….just my opinion, but I'm only a nobody on a forum..

By the way - there was talk earlier on that Teddy was adjusting his running style to better protect his lower body against injury. Did anyone notice a difference?

I can see Teddy playing well over the next couple of years but not getting picked for NSW and Aust rep teams, as the selectors have already singled out Moylan as the chosen one for the custodian role. They'll pick Moylan for his complete game and value as a goalkicker. I think it will take a two seasons for Teddy to leapfrog Moylan.

brooks and moses yeh but dont think teddy has played with them too long- certainly not competitive matches.

as for the combination, it will be interesting to see whether the set plays are centred around brooks/moses with tedesco floating around or whether the set plays will be generic so as to accomodate depth players who may come in via injury.

It would take one hell of a player to surpass Brett Hodgson. Doubt we will see it at this club anytime soon. Tedesco is certainly a keeper though, and looks like being one of our best players for years to come.

They will be telling him to take it slowly and just get his confidence back

Teddy just needs to let things happen slowly and not take the world on in one foul swoop as hard as that might be

No doubt happy. By the look of it he seems to have not lost any pace!! Good kid and by the look of it he doesn't lack any confidence

It's the lack of self preservation that makes him great. Unfortunately this also risks injuries. He is the X factor that compliments the team. No way melb would have been consistently great over the years without slater. Cronk / smith outstanding but slater the X factor. Hopefully teddy provides us this for many tears.
