Tedesco eyes new running style

They want James to be lighter across the turf

They want him to slightly lengthen his stride and probably to use swerve more than big sidestep which will take some pressure of his knee and ankles

And the diet thing , the players are actually sending pictures of their meals to Taylor

No breads no pastas

Hmm.. and here I thought you just caught the ball and run…

Sports Science hey...we were way behind in this area ...seem to have invested in it... brought in better people...then when they want to change and improve something peeps complain...go figure

OK I'll bite geo….its clear thats what you want.

I dont think ppl are complaining, merely voicing a concern...quite valid too imo
Maybe if & when they get the runs on the board with the sports science, ppl will have more confidence

Should we not be trying to put weight on certain players (Moses, Martin). Not eating bread or pasta is counterproductive in their cases.

Sorry Blake I should of specified that no bread or pastas for James

Pretty hard for an Italian boy  and he has said as much

I was under the impression, from reading this forum, that Tedesco hadn't signed a new deal. The interview seems to suggest he's pretty comfortable with his contract situation though I guess it doesn't explicitly state that he's re-signed so it's just possible that the person/people on here who reckon there's no new deal may not be total gibberers.

Okay that sounds like more of a tweak than redesigning his entire style. I see how that could be a good thing, I just don't want him to lose pace or his strength as he hits the line.

Teddy says "the club showed faith in giving him a 3 year deal",also he agreed we needed a change of coach, two big topics on this forum, thanks Teddy and good luck mate.

it's probably tailored for each player.

also, the 'no breads no pastas' could be there for different reasons. i'm not a nutrition expert but perhaps something to do with complex versus simple carbs (like white bread vs wholemeal). Or they're getting their calories and whatnot from some other source if they're trying to put on weight.

This sort of stuff I can never work out.
As you know about these things pHyR3, how about helping a few of us with long acquired beer bellies with a few simple tips on what to eat (or not to eat) to help get rid them.
Much appreciated lol

Sports science eh?

Maybe ISC need to lift their game and design a new jersey made from new tech polymers or nanomites that won't allow opposition players to hold and tackle us.

Maybe even a super hero jersey of Pietro aka quicksilver will do the trick.

But heh, if pasta does it for you!

haha i know very little mostly just from high school PDH/PE and my own googling.

but, as for what to eat to lose weight. I recently dropped around 5-6kg over 7 weeks, mostly fat. What I did was drop almost all drinks from my diet except water and maybe a few beers/spirits on weekends. No milk (except cereal), no energy drinks, no beer none of that.

Some foods are good to fill you up, less simple carbs. So those are your unhealthy things which your body uses for a quick burst of energy but you'll be hungry in half an hour. definitely no sugar, chocolate or anything. If you want, you can also cut down on white things, white rice, white bread, white pasta, cheese. Wholemeal is better.

personally i like potatoes so i had more of them cause they fill you up a decent amount apparently.

dont snack, have 3-4 big meals a day. walk around more, i started catch the train in to uni so id walk an extra 3-4km a day. More cardio at the gym.

try some of that and see what happens
