Tedesco to the wing??

Just saw the press conference and potter maybe thinking of using Tedesco on the wing maybe?? Your thoughts….....

Many of today's good Fullbacks have started on the Wing…

Ben Barba
Billy Slater
Greg Inglis
Darius Boyd
Minichello

Shit, even Braith Anasta debut for Australia on the Wing...

I do however get the feeling Potter will put Moltzen at Right Centre if need be?!

Nah, Tedesco should be fullback, his support play is his best attribute and would be wasted on the wing. Nofoaluma should be wing, his got more power in his running game and would be perfect to replace Utai.

Slater started in the centres. I'd be very surprised if Tedesco started on the wing

Would rather Tedesco start at 14, come on after 40 or 60 mins, Moltzen to play utility or something else

**I wouldn't be surprised to see Tedesco selected on the wing for rd1** - the point Potter made about versatility and Moltz and Tedesco being able to play another posn to compliment the team.

Wore Jersey #3, but played on the Wing with David Kidwell starting at Centre

But I agree… I can see either Moltzen or Teddy starting in the Centres, but not Wing.

Do you mean the Foundation Cup post match presser - or has there been one since? I've never heard Potter specifically suggest putting Tedesco on the wing (only that his versatility could mean he'll play another position).

We all know he will end up as a fullback.

But maybe its not a bad idea to come in on the wing, less pressure and more time to adjust. Certainly playing in 1st grade would give him more relevant experience over playing in NSW Cup?

I reckon Potter would have a fair idea on what he will do with him, but is probably staying cagey to ensure Teddy isn't put under too much pressure.

I would rather see

1\. Teddy
2\. Koroibete
3\. Brien
4\. Moltzen
5\. Lawrence

Love it benjimagic. it's perfect, I mean i'd love to see brien, teddy, koro and nofoluma out there but….that's WAY to little experience in the NRL. That's a good balance there. Although, on second glance i'd switch wingers, koro and lawrence. Spread it out a bit more because that left side is no experience with tonnes of speed and talent right has a lot of experience and okay talent.

Also, I haven't seen as much from nofoluma to warrant a wing spot as I have from brien. He's good no doubt and i hope he starts this year, but right now we need some godamn experience, too many rookies!

Edit: oops mixed up my sides, but you know what i mean.

watched the press conference from the roosters game…..

Gee Farah's body language concerns me...slumped forward....looks like he doesn't want to be there...conceded we are not among the top sides this year...I just dont see any +ve energy coming from Robbie

Anasta will/should be fronting a lot more press conferences I think. Farrah isn't a camera man.

Yes I noticed that immediately while watching the press conference. It may be, hopefully, that he did not want to dominate the conference but rather let Potter ease in with his comments. If Farah does have management issues let's hope the club does not let them fester throughout the season.

Fair dinkum you blokes are really making something out of NOTHIN.

His team had just been fairly comprehensively beaten, we all know how competetive he is, combined with him being crook as well apparently…..and you blokes want a song, dance & lightshow from him???

Agree Ink… anyway, back to the topic, I can't understand the reasoning for Tedesco to the wing.

He's already a young gun fullback, just needs to get fully back into the swing of things and NSW Cup is the place to do that. He'll force his way into the side soon enough, and straight to fullback, but until then let wingers play wing.

how some people have short memories , molzten was terrible last year he should not even get a mention in the same sentence as teddy, it would appear nothing has changed with the new coach, molzten seems to get a dream run again.
