Tedesco

I think he's tailed off as a player a bit in the last couple of seasons tbh. He's definitely not what he was and I think the lower leg injuries + concussions are starting to impact him physically.

Adding to that is that he's financially well off, married with a family on the way and has achieved all there is to achieve in the sport.

I think it's a regression rather than a blip and it's only going to get worse. With that said there's some serious issues at the Roosters and I think a lot of it is off the field. It's quite the list of issues:

- Crichton situation;
- Club legends in JWH and Tupou not getting re-signed with their replacements already signed up for 2024;
- Sua'alii signing with rugby;
- Keary's regression;
- (nothing confirmed but a suspicion of mine) Manu agitating demanding he play 1 or 6;
- Signing Brandon Smith who is anything but a calming influence.

I think when the team was playing well, Teddy's regression could be masked, especially when he had Tupou and Sua'alii making plenty of metres along with Manu in the centres, but now everything's changed in that backline and with less space and defences more focused on him, it's really magnifying his regression.

Teddy was never a creative player, he was a power player. I don’t see him as a no6 unless he is a running 6, playing outside a creative no7, and that we don’t have
Maybe time to bring him home. He’s bought a big house near Benji at Hunters Hill, time to strike.
Even a less than perfect Teddy would be worth having.
Interesting, one person loves that idea and one person angry. Mixed feelings about Teddy eh.
If we went after Moses why wouldn’t we have a shot at him ?
As he slows down a bit imo would make a nice no 6 ( actually at one stage the Roosters were contemplating that move as well).

Age catches up with everyone, elite NRL fullbacks included. Doubtless Uncle Nick will already have a plan to ensure that Teddy is well looked after when he hangs up the boots. Meantime, can't see any possibility of him returning to us. That ship disappeared over the horizon years ago.

Dumbest suggestion EVER!!!

We have just found our long-term fullback (and a bloke who is a better human being + a more natural footy player than Teddy ever was)!!

But you want this disloyal mutt on one leg taking up cap space with no commitment or heart to offer??

Is it purely for nostalgia - he would not strengthen our team!

Watch the fricking game!!!

He has been terrible all year - his form reflects a combination of age slowing him down + the same sort of non-commitment to the team that characterised most of his efforts at the Tigers when he had his passage to Easts booked!!

Credit to Easts who made him a rep footy player - he was a talented but inconsistent and defensively slack player at the Tigers until the Roosters made clear what was expected of him!

He is now back in dinner suit mode - and Easts have his massive salary to anchor them down for the next three years - which is poetic!

If he captains NSW this season (which he will) - I'm all in on Qld!!

Very happy to put my money where my mouth is!

I DESPISE IT!!!

And they'll pick Luai over Hynes.
