Telegraph in trouble

They might stop writing rubbish on us for a few hours... Clowns

More likely they will link us to buying 7 more players and ramble on some more about our club being a shambles or how horrible we were to not give Benji another contract. We seem to be what they write about when they need to fill space, regardless of whether it is true or not, actually all their so called news stories also do not require truth.

The tab was betting in the Dally M's this year they shut it off after 12 rounds
I took tedesco so got a duck egg

It was shut down after the police investigation into last years debacle.

I put my bet on for 2020 day after 2019 Dally M result so possibly the case I should check to see if I got a refund it was not shut then

I'm sure the NRL will flog them mercilessly with a lettuce leave

I guess then if they got serious they get replaced by 9 ........God help us

You could still bet on it last night on bet365

Some bloke chucked $50 on Wighton to win it about 12 weeks ago, think it was paying $18. He was only told last night it would be voided. Talk about being stiff

These things are deliberate .. there are safe guards the same as last week at ICAC confidential personal information released these people are precise and detailed..

In that case absolutely you could argue the ICAC were settling a grudge about lack of financial support.

In this case though what would the benefit be? You mean clicks for the DT?

The NRL are a joke. Clueless and spineless. They will do nothing to upset their buddies at the Telecrap! All talk as usual!

Haha nice to see that filthy rag of a paper, and in particular Rothfield, in big trouble for ‘accidentally’ leaking the name of the Dally M winner hours before the ceremony. The NRL are furious apparently and are launching an investigation. Couldn’t happen to a nicer media organisation ?

Guthsrson didn't get a point in our final round Game?

He was pretty instrumental from memory

Thought that was very odd. I gave Wighton no chance going into that last round of tallying.

Considering the morally low reputation of the DT, for publishing stories regardless of validity and substance, and often seemingly to simply get a reaction of outrage at the pigswill they did publish, and the fact last year's results of coach of the year was leaked allowed the opportunity for insider-trading-like betting, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if the whole awards were rigged.

What's the **bet** they intentionally manufactured that result for Wighton?

The entire system of polling is ridiculous, look at when Farah and Benji were together they take points from each other they just missed out.
Should be every player out of 5 or 10 and it is tallied up

That sounds like a good idea.
The Rugby League Week used to have a scoring system like that.

Ideally it would be good also if;
1. People could not bet on it, and
2. It was run by an organisation of integrity (not the DT)

That is a far more equitable system and should result in the correct choice far more often than "murdoch roulette"

Not my fault according to Rothfield - bet he is sweating
BUZZ ROTHFIELD
@BuzzRothfield
Owing to a production error that was out of my control, The Daily Telegraph website accidentally published the winner of the Dally M award before the official announcement tonight. We apologise sincerely for the mistake.

I reckon it was Joe the camera man.
