Telegraph in trouble

On a serious note the Daily Telegraph is boarding on obsession with Tigers and negative stories.. I understand we have brought a lot of this on ourselves and need to be better at what we do but its just getting beyond a joke. Another one just posted 1 hour ago with heading " The call that cost Tigers superstar Fullbacks" .... give it a rest... All clubs lose talented players for all different reasons but according to DT it's just us..
Surely this week is about the 2 GF teams and not us again or do we have more click bait action then them..

I don't know where this would stand in the legal terms but with all the negative consistent articles posted from them it has to be damaging to our brand..I assume we cannot do anything about it as clearly there is an agenda there against us.
I would think NRL is one of there main bread earners for DT and if it was taken away they would be in real trouble.. Must be hard to write a positive news story about us because we could win the GF next year and they would still be digging into more dramas to publish..

It’s hardly surprising that an article like that would be published GF week.

They can write what they like. Doesn’t bother me.
Rather than wishing the journos stop the negative press, we should be improving in every way. Particularly in our administration and decision making.
Anyway, 12 years from now the telegraph will not be printed.

Just because they put negative stories towards us they are not always wrong. Most of the Crawley articles are "opinion pieces" and should not be viewed as factual articles, he is paid for an opinion.
The view of the telegraph is pretty ordinary towards us but what is the alternative... SMH "independent always" geez or ABC.
Once we get some signings and some on field success the telegraph will back off us.

Hopefully a lot less than that!

They'd have to be pretty dumb to not realise it damages their brand also. There was a time I'd occasionally buy the paper if only for the footy gossip. They haven't had a penny from me for years. A bit dumb offending 1/16th of your readers in the days of dying newspapers.

They disguise it as speaking for the fans though which is the most infuriating part.

lol, did I read that right? The DT wrote a story questioning Wighton as being the winner of the Dally M? Even though it's people from the DT that cast their votes making up the points for the Dally M?

I for one, put very little stock in the Dally M, to me it's not 'rugby' leagues' night of nights' but a total waste of time. I hope they can it.

No journalists involved. Ex players only.

I’m mean the nickname “Buzz”says it all really.

He seriously is the worst journalist in Rugby league.
I watched him on NRL 360 twice and after seeing him talk dribble and getting into a slagging match i have not watched it since.

It does not surprise me he leaked, maybe his sources might dry up now? Continually bags the WT.
