Since Taylor has now been sacked and everyone has had their say re his coaching ability, the big four resigning etc etc…

My question is, how come the playing group showed improvement last year and came 9th on the ladder,we still have the same basic playing group and it was said what a great year MOSES had and 2017 will be promising, our first game we had a good win and the next two we got hammered, why then can MOSES play like a busted arse and Brooks plays his usual crap with Kev and co and not play as the professional footballers they are???

We can blame Taylor all we like,he is gone, funny how the worst two performances this year co incide with contractual renewals coming up,if I was looking to renew my contract I would have played like an immortal to get the thing signed and then been consistent every game, thats professionalism..if the halves put on a blinder this week then I would say they have been holding back, unfortunately it only makes them look worse than they are as players and humans...says a lot for their manager as well....

They might get a game plan that suits our team this week, not one that worked at the roosters, that we have been trying to emulate with little success for the last 2 years.
Round 1 this year was masked by no Reynolds and Inglis going down after 8 minutes, we still let in 18 points and should have scored 50.

Both Brooks and Moses know that the worst case scenario is they get a huge contract from us. Theres no motivation in regards to their contracts being up.

Fair point and hope they get something right for a change….especially a new focus on the importance of defense...

That is what I expect now, whether it happens though.

I as many have little confidence in this playing group, maybe Webster can produce something out of them, however they are supposed to be professional footballers and the basic mistakes they make week in week out would put them in the local town pub comp catergorey, even then they would be shown up..
I have defended many of them for 2 years now saying they need time and experience, the local under 12 team learn quicker than some of these and don't keep making the same mistakes consistently..Im not sticking up for Taylor, but gee he did have a tough job getting things through some of their heads…

What significantly brought WT downfall was RF going to SOO plus getting injured etc.. I noticed for a few years that Tigers would go down fast due to many injuries and RF's absence. And we lost/let go key players just because they were getting older but nothing really wrong with them. Maybe due to salary cap restrictions I don't know.

Exactly.
The moment JT was sacked they knew the contracts are on.
Board has folded to them.

Absolutely correct and shows just how weak the organisation is at the moment…to let a player manager and players dictate is a deadest shambles...

Thats the funny part… I read the threads and am amused at how many on here celebrate the sacking of Taylor, then have gone on to in their next breath propose we move Brooks on as well, and low ball Moses.

There is a direct correlation between removing Taylor and all 4 being extended.

100%
JT wasn't going to bow down to Issac Moses and sign his 4 players. He knows Brooks is junk.
This well orchestrated plan sealed the deal for them.

It could be as simple as,
Wk 1 - no distractions
Wk 2 - Concerns over Simona dobbing his mates in for taking coke.
Wk 3 - I don't know how ill ET's daughter was but apparently she was suddenly rushed to hospital with serious concern.

It doesn't always have to be a players revolt, or player A and B doesnt like the player C or player D doesn't like how the coach coaches
We all know our team is mentally weak and any distraction can put them off.

I, like the rest if you have absolutely no idea so let's wait and see how they play over the next couple of weeks and hope the worst is behind them.

I'm not so sure about that. Yes, it's possible the players expressed their preference to have a new coach. However, the new coach may not have the preference to keep all 4 players! I'm sure Cleary, should he be appointed the new coach, will have the final say on who he keeps and who he moves on. It's a clean slate, people.

TT, the West Tigers fans have already been ripped off big time by Simona's antics. If it is proven that the players have purposely held back in their last two matches the fans would be much more than just livid with rage and it would then be a major understatement to say that there would be an urgent need for a major investigation to determine what underhanded issues the WT players have been involved in.
