1 Moltzen has offered nothing
2 Ryan's been the heart that kept us pumping
and he would excel at fullback for the rest of the year
3 Ayshford has finally showed he's still got it
4 Reddy is reliable under the high ball and not likely to force a pass like others
5 Lawrence is not a 5/8 and many times he gets bumped and confused in defence
6 Tuqiri only has it when the team is firing, sadly poor in defence
7 Utai should be brought back in for his agro running/ hit ups
8 Marshall needs a decent halfback in the team to really produce his magic
9 Halfback we need desperately
10 Galloway must be injured
11 Farah great organizer when there are bodies in motion, but it's not happening at the moment. Very solid though
12 Woods how good is going to get
13 Blair constantly trying, I believe he'll click soon
14 Fulton for a light weight, plays his heart out
15 Bell has been real value for money
16 BMM has stepped up this year
17 Cashmere has been solid
18 Ellis well we all know
19 Heighington really does anyone miss him
20 Humble was never ready for 1st grade but has made the most of it
21 Groat will be a thing of the past
22 Moors never lets you down
23 Sheens can no longer scare a fly, by now he's used every trick in his book to motivate the players, but all their hearing is blah blah blah

Bag me if you like but do you guys see it the same. Love to read all your thoughts.

Definately agree with number 7 and I have been saying this since last year. Utai should have always gotten the nod over Lote.
Who cares if Utai can't jump or run 100m in 10secs.

Tuiaki couldn't and he was a favorite son…

But tuiaki could… He wasn't slow at all
And he could take a hitup
And could defend
And had the best "Tongan step" in the nrl
He certainly found the try line two

Lote isn't bad at taking hitups either

I realize that bagging Moltzen is a recreation sport on this forum, but I think he saved 2 certain tries tonight. As the Great Gus Gould would say "savin' em is just as important as scorin' em"
I love Beau and think he his has given his ALL this year amongst a pedestrian team, but surely his performance tonight under the high ball has dispelled the whole fullback theory? he's a winger and a solid one too.
LOTE needs to properly recover from his injuries - absolutely no confidence but plenty of ticker.
I like Utai's hit up value, but I have tO question why are forwards aren't doing more of this, you know what I mean a forward who runs hard at the line and sucks in 3 defenders.
3 or 4 weeks ago some on this forum wanted Woods and Groat buried up to their necks in the sahara desert,Woods has come a long way. I keep telling people that Props mature at 25 and Groat will too. I do suspect however that he will be find his best at another club, as he will be the perfect scapegoat for an ineffective forward roster in 2012.
Marshall needs to learn discipline ( and possibly, how to count to 6), he will be given the opportunity to display is best when Anastasia arrives to direct the play and curtail some of the juvenile options the team takes.
I find Blair is trying " VERY TRYING", his footballing ability just demonstrates how good Smith,Cronk, Slater and Bellamy are at plying their trade.
Heignington brings some hard running and some aggression to our forward pack- Yeah, I miss him!

As for your other points Tigermaniac, I would agree with you. thanks for taking the time to post a thought provoking thread.

I think the forwards are going alright, but Moors and BMM are certainly underused.

The backs are an issue but yes Blake appears to be finding some form and Lawrence as well, but not at 5/8\. In so far as Benji is concerned, he needs to run more, but I've said in other posts, I reckon he's been told to play conservative, but he's playing too conservative and not getting involved. He should be touching the ball at least twice in each set.

I think Moors and Humble will be with BRET in a fortnight while guys like Lote and Moltz remain untouched.

I also feel that Beau has been great but he is actually running too much from dummy half which is hurting us
