OFFICIAL Terrell May #296

Payne won’t leave Brisbane. His parents are in jail and he supports his siblings. Don’t think he’d uproot them after everything they’ve gone through.
Payne Haas will command ridiculous money soon let him fowl up someone else's salary cap.

He is such an alpha forward as well. Not only huge minutes and motor, no one escalates with May. It’s like they know he is dominant, he doesn’t need to front anyone. I like how little he is put on the ground. Him Pole and Hunt are a great pack. How we landed this guy I don’t know but yes agree, already up there with Ellis. With more upside.
He’s a beauty but I thought the Saints pack might try and test him this week, especially Klem who would like nothing better. The only thing is I’m not sure he’s got any real fire left. As I wrote recently I can’t believe Easts let May go. Still trying to work it out. But glad we got home!

There was talk he wanted to move everyone back to sydney.. Terrell may & Payne Haas would be crazy, think they'll be the Blues front row pairing. It will be for 2027 season if we he comes anyway, plenty of time..

Interested to know what 2 Props (40 mins each) for the Dragons stats were?
I don't see the benefit of flogging a player to death like this just to save a Prop Interchange
(then TDS for 13 minutes, And whatever it was we got from Bird in however long??)
I'm betting most Prop rotations are getting similar numbers from 80 minutes.

Say it again,
We need better use and more impact from the rest of our Bench moreso than we need to Flog May for 80 every week.

His numbers have been usually way more than these

He looked a bit sluggish to start with the other nite, but surprisingly picked up once the game wore on

What do you reckon the ideal rotation is for our props? Twal has gone very well in the middle and Sione F has also been strong. Royce has had good impact. Not sure why we have to play Terrel so long - needs a rest during the game so can be strong at the end. I would take him off at Royce’s first stint at 30 min mark and put him back on as first change after half time

Using up two of your interchanges unnecessarily though perhaps. The guy is right up the top of the Dally Ms as is. I think we need an few other forwards to play a bit more of a role so he’s not doing quite so much work.

Not sure of the best way but 60 to 70 minutes for Terrell still elite and personally think Twal, Sione and even Hunt would be fine with an extra 5 each.

I'd also like to see him playing 60 or so minutes as well with some of the others taking on a bit more of the load, obviously don't want to see him get burnt out.

The bonus is that we know he is capable of 80 if required due to other players going down causing disruptions to our bench and interchanges.

Let's face it, at some stage he will get injured or suspended and we need to plan for that by having some of the others taking on a bit more of the work load now.
