OFFICIAL Terrell May #296

This is a massive game for May today V Stefo who for some strange reason pick him over May.

It is going to be tough to win but him putting in a big game will shut a few of the clowns up in the media.

"May’s revelation comes after whispers emerged earlier this week about Daley contacting several figures in the Wests Tigers camp, who reportedly didn’t give May a glowing review."

Im sorry but this really gives me shits. At no stage anywhere was it suggested Daley had spoken to people in the Tigers camp, just people in the game (probably Robinson). As if anyone in the club would say "yeah nah not up scratch". Such low quality journalism that can be quite destabilising. Par for the course really.

Probably spoke to Galvin through Moses his manager.

I’ve thought for a while May wouldn’t be getting the gig partly due to being a Tiger and not from one of the higher profile clubs but more importantly due to his play style and position on the field. He is effectively a Temu Payne Hass. As NSW have a fit Hass available he becomes less important. When you have Jacob Safiti hitting plus 100m in one half of football in roughly 20-25 minutes you see there are better options for what NSW needs. His time might come, but he needs to keep working on his prop attributes i.e Efficiency per minutes, combining meters and tackle breaks per run and getting more physical in first contact, if he is going to make an impact in the NRL / Rep arena.

Great take

It's Origin, Not club football....
You need leg speed in the middle, A decent motor is fine - Sure...
But you need leg speed.

I hate Jake Turbo there as much as anyone, And would prefer Terrell...
He's in the conversation, But he'd be swallowed in that arena - As good as everyone thinks he's going.
There's been some middles over the years that are great for NRL and not for Origin, Not saying May is one of them, But he has some things to work on before I'd be putting him in there.
Even Yeo is borderline Origin for me, Just too cumbersome in the middle...
All those years Mitch Pearce was being blamed for origin Failure, It was the forward failing
- What's a half gonna do when he's kicking inside his own 30m

Yeah agree. When you take off the Tigers glasses the logic for not picking him is pretty sound. It isn't a typical "rep" team like the Kangaroos. It is a different game with different styles of players required.

Who the hell would Laurie be asking who is he close too at the tigers?

The report is that May’s defence isn’t always up to scratch and that his character may not gel well with others in camp – a bit of a stretch given it only goes for 10 days.

How could anyone who's watched a game of NRL say that Mays defence isn't always up to scratch 😂😂

What a Muppet of a journo. Hes a whipping boy at home to his Mrs no doubt

May I can understand if he misses out, great player in the tigers team Hass can play big minutes and they have Barnett off the bench.
It does seem May is a different cat, he doesn't only march to beat of a different drum, he practically doesn't march at all. Personality probably plays a part

Luai should be in the team he is a 6 unlike moses. Moses is the second one best 7 in nsw so if cleary goes down moses straight in

Api is the best hooker in nsw should be in the team with Watson from the bench

Our understanding of our players is one thing.
Coach Daley is a different animal.
Favourites suit a certain purpose.
