Do you think Terrell is mediocre?

I think his performances since signing his new contract have been below mediocre.

In terms of his overall game, he's a decent player but has huge issues with his lateral defence, his play the ball speed would be one of the worst in the NRL, and he does not make many post contact metres because his hit ups lack impact.

His supercoach scores are great though, which has fooled some people into believing he's an elite player.

I detest the fans who constantly make excuses for mediocrity. Effort is the bare minimum that should be expected in professional sport and it's not something players should be lauded for, but most of our fanbase are happy clappers so can't say I'm surprised. Same fans who get excited when we win two games, then make excuses when we inevitably lose seven straight.

This roster should have played finals this year and have failed miserably.

Lateral defence and ptb speed I agree. He plays like a log alot of the time, but does the job.

Did you see much of him when he was at the roosters playing less minutes?

He was a machine. I think we are using him the wrong way, which isnt his fault. The Roosters know a thing or two about forwards.

They do, and there's probably a good reason why they let him go? They don't get many wrong at the Roosters and if they do, they correct it quickly (look at Dom Young).

I agree that May is poorly used. He shouldn't be playing anywhere near as many minutes as he does. Like most players, we just eventually make them worse.

Agree. Has ability to play long mins at very low intensity. Doesn't help us.

There will inevitably be a team or 2 that makes the 8, with a shittier roster than ours and also had injuries and suspensions. I’d almost bet my pension on it…

Our team has no spine - never has.

He doesn’t have it in him. The way he’s going, he’s only moderately better than Sharon was when he left. He’s soft as butter.

That's harsh on Woods, he carried the team for years. TDM is not carrying this team at present, he was good last season, not so much this season.

When they had the best players available of the roster they were competitive.
It’s obvious with most teams including Broncos and Storm that if you loose too many of your best players your team fails.

We were totally outmuscled ( again) by the Dogs last night. They knew they had nothing to fear and belittled us. Don’t know what Skelton did at the Dogs but he was targeted and made to look like a teddy bear, our forwards were soft.
I’m just trying to remember if way back when our forwards weren’t so soft or weak ( and I mean Blocker, Benny, Helmsley, Keefy, McGuire, Junior etc), yes real Tigers, not the paper Tigers we’ve had for years.
Do you think Benji is capable of presenting guys like that ? If Benji stays as the coach he should be training them to just play Benjiball, and do it really well.
At least focus on what you’re good at !

Benji is done as a coach, he has not got the basic's right all season.

Hunt not being available has affected the front row rotation. Getting a player over the advantage line definitely helps players mentally imo. A part of the tigers that is known to be fragile

Totally agree the loss of Hunt, has been understated he was a big body off the bench and since he got injured we don't have that impact at all.

Either way, that form at the roosters is exactly what we need to bring out at the tigers. It starts by reducing his minutes. Probably needs to shed a few kgs so he isnt such a log (woods like) to give him a bit more agility.

Injuries have made a huge impact , May was fine when we had KPP on one side and SamF on the other both attacking , they both went forward we also had Hunt coming in to punch holes for 10 / 15 minutes and it was clearly working , flogging May on hear is crazy , poor bloke has played nearly all games and had a crack , maybe he is also playing with injury , and we have no replacements left , Take APi , KPP , Sam F , Hunt out of you team you gonna have issues , we simply don’t have the reserves , not one of out reserves is even close to KPP or Sam. Same for API and Hunt , none

You can only reduce minutes with a replacement, we don’t have any that are nrl std , we need to go shopping , Bunty and Hunt probably gone in 27 so we are very thin , probably need to buy 3 props , 2 replacements and the spare we need now , flights to NZ are cheap now also , jump on a plane and get over and raid warriors for some young bulls wanting a go

If we are letting bunty and hunt go without replacements then we deserve everything we get.

The guy clearly isn’t a pack leader, obvious to everyone bar the coaching staff. When we were on our hot run at the start prop was one of the positions I thought we were well equipped in … now it’s standing out like dog nuts that it’s a position we are very weak in
