Might as well just skip Tig_Prmz , or at least give him an earlier deadline. We'll be waiting another 24 hrs otherwise.

Haha, great minds think alike…
Well he ended up having his go shortly after you so hopefully he is still around to have his turn now.

I was thinking of introducing a 2 strikes rule. You miss your 24 hour deadline twice and your deadline becomes 12 hours. What does everyone think?

Awesome job Sabre, your a natural.

Thank God it is Sabre….Imagine if it was Happy....over before the coin toss...

In reference to your last post on the cricket thread…...that's what used to happen to me when running the League draft, had to go through the list to work out what people selected.

Yeah at the moment I've got it under control but as the game goes on I can see it will obviously become more and more difficult.

Alphabetical order might make it easier as the list gets bigger…...

Happy doesn't know the alphamabet….

Was thinking to we need to put more thought when it comes to voting for example if we are voting 1 thru 11 ..voting 1 with 1's down the order anomalies will occur when it comes to spinners and keepers depending on where they bat in the order I've got Kumble @ 8 Happy has Warnie @ 7 and tig has Murli @ 10 so they'll come up against players that are apples not oranges,,,

Swampy also has R. Taylor opening and Hayden @ 3 ..they hardly ever batted in those positions....Hayden would rate much higher as an opener that he would @ 3

I'm thinking:
Vote 1: Opening batsmen
Vote 2: Number 3s
Vote 3: Number 4 and 5 batsmen
Vote 4: Wicket keepers
Vote 5: All Rounders
Vote 6: Pace bowlers
Vote 7: Spin bowlers

I think it is everyone's responsibility to make sure they pick 2 opener's, 1 spinner etc….
Some might pick 3 batsman that are all openers and be judged incorrectly.

Yeah that seems a better way….but still some keepers could say are all rounders Gilly Dhoni Sangakarra...

We Will have to specify you have to pick a batting/bowling allrounder in your team I think...

Yeah we agreed on that FT…this is about voting time...you cant just vote 1 v 1 2's v2's
for batsmen it's ok but spinners need to come up against spinners in the batting order or it's not a fair comparison

Nah I think allrounders should be bowler/batsmen.

"Allrounder" keepers have really only been a big talking point since Gilly.

In that case i wasted a pick on Freddy when i could have just had Sanga as my all rounder :bash

Relax mate ..that's why we are discussing it now…See the way I look at it as a keeper Sanga would be down on the list IMO but as a Keeper/Batsman (all rounder) he would be 2nd just behind Gilly...

Outside Gilly, he's the greatest wicket keeper batsman ever.

I think that's what I said… 😕

Yes you did.

We are not disagreeing but if he is being judged just as a keeper he will have more ahead of him as far as keepers go…

So we need to clarify...I'm with CB..needs to be a bowling/batting all rounder so you haven't wasted a pick with Freddy...who BTW was mine
