I'm trying to remember what Billy has done. Not to be negative, but he played a few games for the storm and 1 or 2 for us? Pedigree and decent but 27 now and doesnt look like a regular Fgrader? Not sure he would set the SL alight either, nor bag a fortune there

Yep.

He played pretty high intensity for us and looked involved in everything.

He'll be Albert Kelly style depth at the Broncos or like I said, maybe Kev will get him a job at the club that isn't essentially a player.

The club just hit fans entitled . Because they have been useless last 2 years
- they complain that their “juniors “ being poached
- all this talk of player drafts
- wanting cap relief for juniors

For once it’s on the other foot and they and certain media personalities want rules changed to benefit them .

Same as they whinged numerous times about the qualifications rules for origin......actually, QRL threatened to pull out of the series if things didn’t change.....and I’m not talking about the switch to “origin” a la Beetson et al....much later...early 2000’s after nsw had won three in a row.

As some one said, Mbye is a good 6 to be outside 7 Reynolds.

Walters at 14 seems pretty decent for them.

When he did manage to hit the field for us, I saw him as a VERY similar sort of player to Josh Reynolds and IMO we got as much out of Walters as we did from Reynolds at a small ffraction of the cost.

Agree with all of that other that Mbye not being a Tiger. This is his 4th season, he has played over 50 games for us and IMO has always put in and seemingly not sulked at being asked to play 5 different positions with no stability.

I have no problem with you or anyone doubting his ability and there is no argument he is getting overpaid massively, but compared to the other pretenders that we got saddled with on massive contracts, Mbye has always put in and contributed where he could.

If he was on $400K I reckon he would be a forum favourite.
